WDC Acquire Lucasfilm

Ok not strictly DLP but I was just reading the WDW forums and saw the news that Walt Disney Company have bought Lucasfilm.

Immediate speculation over there that this could mean Star Wars land etc at Disney Hollywood Studios, but equally in Paris with WDC taking a greater interest in the Paris parks could we get our own Star Wars land finally?

Oh and if you like the Star Wars films, they seem to be going ahead with Star Wars Episode 7 now

The Star Wars and Sci-Fi news groups went totaly berserk yesturday when the press release went out. I hope we see the Star Wars land build and I'd like to see the origonal plans for the Indiana Jones Jungle Boat Cruise that was origonaly planed for Adventurland dusted off and built.

The Disneyland Park could do with some new attractions.

No there were rumeurs back in March about a meet and greet area and a Jedi academy amongst other things

With Star Wars Episode VII due for release in 2015 it would be a great time for the new land to open.
