Can you still get the unlimited shakes as your drink? Is there a dessert included with the skillet? If so, is it a platter or do you get to choose your own. TIA

Yes you can get the unlimited shakes as your drink, at least that was how it was last May when we ate there. There is no dessert that is included in the skillet price, but of course you can order one like any normal dessert at a restaurant. Now, like I said the last time we ate there was last May, so things could of changed since then.

We were just there on May 19. Four of us were on the DDP, my parents weren't.

DH asked if the shakes counted as a drink on the DDP and was told they didn't, but DD and I each ordered one anyway. When the check came, we weren't charged for them, so apparently the shakes DID count as a drink.

The four of us on the DDP plus my dad each ordered the skillet and two skillets were brought out (to serve 4 adults, 1 child, and 1 infant). They each included all the meats and sides. The adults on the DDP were each able to choose a dessert from the dessert menu.

Yup, unlimited shakes do count as your beverage option (on the DP) and you get a separate dessert at the end of your meal, even if you select the skillet. We had so much food we asked for the desserts to go and enjoyed them in our hotel room the next day!

That's what we have always done. The kids get unlimited shakes (be careful, if you want them to eat) and water. Then we all get the skillet and get our dessert to go. The Apple Pie is wonderful!
