I just got a ADR for WCC tonight.

A few questions:
Can you really get the skillet on the FreeDDP??
---if so, that is a good deal! :thumbsup2

We are there at dinner one night, will the 'antics' be happening?
I would love to 'get' my father in law with some of the jokes. Any suggestions on how to do that?
So if you ask for ketchup, they will bring you lots of bottles? Is there a certain way to ask? Get the kids to maybe?

How do you get the huge coke?

Any other ideas/suggestions/comments?
thanx! :)

When I saw the skillet pics on the other thread I thought that was for a family!?! Is that for one person? :bitelip:

Maybe or maybe not. The amount that is on the skillet depends on the number of people ordering it. So there would be a bigger skillet with more on it for four people and less on it for just one. :teeth:

we got it on the dining plan.
Yes, ask for ketchup

Hang around for the "horseback riding". Can't say exactly how often they do this, but the kids enjoy it and you can get some great pics. For dessert order the Banana Dustbowl (called something else now, but you will know it when you see it--outstanding!) Always a fun evening. We go everytime we are at WDW. Oh, and sometimes if you ask for biscuits/bread, they will throw it at you.

ooooooh I can't wait, it sounds so fun!!

Anyone have any pictures??

Yes you can get the skillet on the DDP and not everyone at your table has to order it. When they first bring it out, it will have everything on it. You can always request more of whatever you like. DH and I really enjoyed it :thumbsup2

Here are a few pics I have from WC...

salad and corn bread (comes with skillet)

Can you get ribs on the skillet still?

Thanks so much.
Looks very yummy!!!

Whether or not you get in on the antics really depends on your server. We've eaten there 3 times--twice 3 years ago and most recently last week. I found this time everything was way toned down from before, and our server did nothing more than sort of toss straws at us when she brought the drinks. She was very sweet but did not play along. I heard some other tables with a bit more going on (one server had a sister sing happy birthday to her older brother), and the kids did the pony races and called for ketchup. But if you're going to see the show, you might be disappointed.

Yes, you can order the skillet on the Dining Plan but, you will have a higher bill by ordering seperate appetizers, entrees and desserts. Our bill last year was around $115. for DH, DS10 and myself. Of course, on Free dining it doesn't really matter about maximizing your meals anyways!! Just order whatever you see that sounds interesting to you!!

Ketchup, ask for a straw, wear a T-Shirt or ballcap with "Universal Studios" on it!!! The kids also get a certificate for participating in the wooden horse races around the place....it's for the "Pony Express", my son thought it was pretty cool :thumbsup2

Yes, you still get the ribs as well. I'm not a big rib eater but DH really enjoyed them!
