WCC Question - lunch vs. dinner

I'm noticing that it is quite a bit easier to get a lunchtime reservation than it is a dinner reservation at WCC. Does anyone know why that is? Are the dinners really that much better, or is it just that dinner reservations are harder to get in general?

I currently have both a dinner reservation and a lunch reservation for the same day - it's the day of spectromagic starting at 7:00 pm, so I'm thinking I'll cancel the dinner one and keep the lunch one so we won't be rushed trying to get to spectromagic, but I'm just wondering if I'm missing anything special by not having dinner there. If I am, maybe I should try to get dinner on another day.

Hi

I think lunch ressies are generally easier to get anywhere - especially at the resorts.

I've done both lunch & dinner. I actually prefer the lunchtime menu, but the evening is definitely more "lively".

We have eaten at WCC for breakfast, lunch, and dinner....we love it there. There really is no comparison food wise from lunch and dinner. Lunchtime tends to be a bit more quieter than dinner and you may not get the horse races like you do at dinner. We have found that the waitstaff tends to get into better character at dinner than at breakfast or lunch. If you want a quieter meal and don't care about the horse races, then stick with lunch, if you want to see what WCC really has to offer, then I would do dinner.

Okay, thanks guys. My kids are 6 and 3....will the 'antics' that they do be lost on them though, are they more for older kids?

Sorry for so many questions! I just don't want to regret cancelling our dinner reservation (5:00) but we really want to see Spectromagic! I'm just trying to figure out if I should try for WCC for dinner on another night. Decisions, Decisions!!
