WCC or Ohana's

Neither actually. They are both equally unimpressive. Go with what you think you prefer, the offerings at WCC or 'Ohana.

'Ohana is marginally quieter and you may be able to see fireworks depending upon the time of your reservation and the location of your table.

We have been to both multiple times - WCC is better at dinner than lunch, that's for sure. I would pick Ohana, but just because it's more unique food. Both are good. It depends on what you would like - are you wanting BBQ food, cornbread, and the like? If so, go WCC. Do you want something with more of a tropical flair? Go Ohana. I have to put in my plug for the delicious banana fosters bread pudding at Ohana for dessert. If you are going for atmosphere, Ohana has the edge there, although the Wilderness Lodge is nice. Either way, I think you would enjoy!

Agree. One provides salty - greasy food and the other is overcooked, tuff meat, if it is available. Last time we were finally offered the beef selection when we were eating dessert. Both have marginal service at best. In our eyes both these restaurants have fallen victims to the assorted Disney affordability programs. At WL I would recommend Artist Point over WCC and over at the PR, Kona over Ohana. There is even better dining at the GF and CR.

I have never been to WCC, but I just returned from my trip and we had dinner at Ohana (this was my 2nd time eating here) and all I can say is that we LOVED it. Everything from food to service was excellent.

We went last summer and our favorite meal of the trip was O'hana's. We loved the atmosphere (kids too) and the meal was excellent. :cool1:The meat was very tender and delicious. :thumbsup2The shrimp was good too.

Been to Ohana twice and loved it- never been to WCC but probably would never anyway because of the noise factor. After a long day in the parks the last thing I want to hear are screaming waiters.

'Ohana is one of our favorites. WCC was one of our worst dining experiences at WDW. YMMV.

We prefer Ohana over WCC. We've eaten at both places 3 times and had one bad meal at each (both server issues). But the food at Ohana has always been quite good!

'Ohana is marginally quieter...

There is nothing quiet about "Whispering Canyon". They would be disappointed to hear that they are only marginally louder ;). If you don't know what I'm talking about, see http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2471434.

If you are looking for an "experience" other than the food, try WCC. The lodge is worth seeing if you haven't been there. And if you're looking for a quieter meal there, try Artist Point.

I would definately choose Ohana. I found Ohana to be entertaining and relaxing after a day in the park. The food was good and the staff wonderful. We don't plan on returning to WCC. We had a long wait for our table. WCC was loud, the food okay, and our service poor.

We've eaten at both and enjoyed our food at both places.

WCC is a little more "interactive" for all ages, whereas 'Ohana's activites were more geared towards the kids.

'Ohana is an all you can eat fixed menu place and WCC has a real menu, of which the all you can eat skillet is just one of the offerings.

All in all we like 'Ohana more but some of that is simply due to not having a restaurant like that around here, barbeque places are a dime a dozen around here.
