Ok, so still trying to finalize Christmas breakfast plans. We aren't doing a park this day, as we are touring resorts and letting our DD's shop in DTD. If you could choose between the two, which would you pick, and why? :santa:

Both restaurants are extremely different in atmosphere. If I wanted some fun along with my meal, I would dine at WCC. If I'm looking for what I consider to be one of the best breakfasts on property, I would dine at the Kona Cafe. I love the Kona Cafe's macadamia nut pancakes, a slice of ham, and a presspot of Kona coffee. It's heaven on earth.

:thumbsup2 Kona has a huge selection and everything is always fresh. They also have the best coffee on property. Kona has never disappointed us.

WCC their skillet breakfast never seems fresh. It is almost like it is premade sitting in steam tables waiting to be served. It was ok, but I am in no hurry to return.

If WCC is Whispering Canon it is horrible:scared: The waitress's do not even seem to be abusing you the spirit of fun. The food is gross.

No contest-Kona. Can't take the "antics" at WCC and the food was marginal, at best. The one breakfast that we had there, my over-easy eggs were functionally raw. And the platter had but one solitary, lonely, forlorn sausage link--also slightly undercooked.
Kona has that excellent Tonga Toast, and a large sampler called the Big Kahuna--eggs, meats, potatoes, etc etc. I always order that.

Wow, is this a trick question??

I love both restaurants for breakfast, but I would give a slight edge to Kona because of the Tonga Toast! If you want a larger breakfast in a more fun atmosphere, WCC is the way to go! :)

Kona is a favorite of ours for breakfast! Tonga Toast is awesome!:thumbsup2

Another vote for Kona here.....just recently had the pineapple macadamia nut pancakes there in Sept !

Kona, I could go here every day for tonga toast and macadamia nut pancakes. They have awesome potatoes and the best scrambled eggs. Oh and the pressed pot coffee is out of this world...I could live on this stuff

Kona is my favorite for breakfast! We eat there at least once every trip. I wouldn't miss it. The scrambled eggs as wonderful and the coffee is fantastic! :goodvibes
