My youngest son says he wants to eat with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare.
However, this means I would need to give up WCC for this trip. We have eaten there before and enjoyed it.

I have read negative and positive reviews of 1900 Park Fare. The loudness isn't a concern. My oldest isn't that happy about it, but will tolerate it since it is a buffet.

We already have three other buffets in our plans, Boma, Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. We have two sit down meals planned, LeCellier and Sci Fi Dine In.

So which is the best choice WCC or 1900 Park Fare?

If I were just going on the food I'd say Whispering Canyons. It's one of our favorites and we try not to miss it on each trip. But, your youngest son wants to eat with Cinderella. I'd tell him that there isn't room in the plans for both, ask him which meal he'd rather do and go with that.

We have always done WC every trip (we go at least once per year) but we won't be going this time. When we were there last october celebrating my son's 10th bday we were highly disappointed. While eating at WL is always a treat, the food was lousy, the service was unbelievably lousy, and they did nothing to make his evening special. Not that they have to, but they should have. I even had a cake ordered for close to fifty bucks, so you'd think a few CMs could have come over and sang or something. Our own CM/waiter didn't even say anything to him. And we were even staying in the lodge and felt disappointed at such a lousy evening at our home resort. So, we are doing 1900 this time too, and although I don't know how much hope I hold out for the food (mixed reviews) I figure the character entertainment (which always gets great reviews) should make up for it. Its hard cause on a good night Im sure WC is great (we've been there when it was def. great), but I can't give it a thumbs up at this point in time cause our last visit was such a downer. good luck. I say let the boy eat where he wants to eat. My son (11) is insisting on eating in the castle this time (even though its princesses), and although it kills me to spend two TS credits on the meal, which is mediocre, he wants to do it, so we're doing it. I have picked most everythign else, so if he wants CRT then we're doing CRT. I think 1900 will be a great choice cause even if the food isn't that great, you know the characters will be, it's fun to take the monorail to the resort, and the GF is definitely a place to visit, especially during the holidays. So that's three good things to put in the "pros" column. GL....sorry this got so long!!

We did 1900 Park Fare for the first time this year, mainly because we hadn't done it before. We did not find the place noisy, buffet was clean, everything fresh & tasty. Main reason to recommend is the Character interaction, which is great.

We ate at 1900 last year and really enjoyed it. The character interaction was the best of any of our character dining. I am sad that we won't be going on our October visit, but my boys have decided they are too old for Cinderella! Go and enjoy!

We just got back last week. We did both 1900 park fare and WCC, both were good, but i think i would pick WCC over 1900.

We just got back yesterday and did 1900 Park on our last night. We have done WCC in the past but if I had to choose I'd pick 1900.You can't beat the buffet, like the pp stated clean, fresh and tasty...:upsidedow

Funny...I have very similar ADRs, and I had the same dilemma. I have a DD6, so this will be her one princess meal. After reading all the reviews of 1900 PF, I also have my reservations. DH and DS10 would rather go to WCC, but it looks like it's getting the boot.

I say if your child really wants to meet Cinderella than the trip will be worth it. We had some great character interaction with the stepsisters. My biggest problem with 1900 is there was a hugh wait when we went. It wasn't worth the wait. Other than that the meal was good and the characters are good. I think it just depends on how badly your child wants to meet the characters.

We've not eaten at WCC but did go by and check it out. We ate at 1900 Park Fare. We loved it!! That was the one restaurant my DH really wants to go back to. The character interaction was amazing! Drizella was put in time out right next to my son's chair. My sweet four year old kept saying, while giggling, she's in trouble!! It was hilarious! Great food, clean and lovely!

Thank you for all the replies. My mom was ablet to get an ADR for 4:50 so I am hoping that we won't have to wait since we are being seated 20 minutes after they open.

My DS is 6 and my DS will be 12. DH and DS 12 aren't looking forward to this, but my 12 year old said he will be happy with the buffet however I can't take any pictures of him there. DH really wants to go to WCC.

I have the reservation, I also kept the WCC one for now, but will cancel it or my mom will cancel the 1900 Park Fare by the end of the week. (I didn't book them at my 90 day mark) I have been showing them clips from You Tube of both WCC and 1900 Park Fare. My six year old doesn't remember WCC from our last trip.

Maybe adding an extra day to our trip is in order. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
