If I book an ADR at WCC will the entertainment value be "over the head" of my DS6 and DD3? I can't see my son hollering for ketchup for instance. I am still debating on ADRs that the children will enjoy.

My boys were 4 and 6 when we went there and they loved it. Even though some of the jokes were over their heads, watching all the kids in the restaurant deliver ketchup was quite funny to mine. And I'd bet your 6 year old would like it if YOU had to ask for ketchup in this way. Our server knew how to joke with kids. We're returning there on this trip because we (that means all of us) liked it so much on the last trip.

For other meals, your kids might like Crystal Palace to see Pooh (3 year olds are perfect for that) or Chef Mickey's.

I haven't been there, but have made ADRs for 'Ohana--which is also supposedly good for kids.

Have fun!

We were there in late 2004. I knew ahead of time what kind of pranks to expect but did not share this with my family. Lo and behold, our then 6 year old was in tears at first because she thought the waitress was being really, really, really mean to us. After explaining the big joke to her, and the server toning it down a bit, dd began to enjoy the fun. She eventually thought it was hilarious to see another table get scolded and had to be punished by riding around the restaurant and lobby on their stick horses. Both dds wanted their turn on the horses next!

All this to say you know your children best. In hindsight, I should've prepped my older dd beforehand because she is a very sensitive little girl. It turned out fine but started off sour with the tears. Thank goodness we have some happy memories of WCC, though!

My DS, 3, enjoyed WCC a lot. A lot of it was over his head, but he still had fun. While he didn't actually get into the ketchup, he did enjoy watching his older brother and cousin hauling ketchup all over the place. He did do the stick pony race, and while he was a little reluctant at first, enjoyed it very much. I love this place, I think it is fun for everyone!! :thumbsup2
