Has anyone had breakfast here? How is it? We didn't like dinner here when we went before, due to the servers' antics, but since we're staying at WL on this trip, I thought we could eat here for breakfast. Do you think the servers would be a little toned down in the morning, or is it the same as if you go at dinner time?

We have eaten there for both breakfast and dinner, and the antics were about the same. We enjoy the antics however, that's why we go there. As for the food, I liked breakfast better. The french toast was terrific! From what I have heard, lunch is toned down as far as the antics go. I can't say for sure since I have never eaten lunch there, but that is what I have read from others. Maybe someone else with first hand experience can comment.

We've eaten here for breakfast a few times and found it so so. We enjoy taking the boat over to Trails End at Fort Wilderness and do their breakfast buffet there. Lots to choose from and all good.

we have enjoyed breakfast at WCC many times. we have noticed that the waiters seem to pick up on the fact if you are a "watcher" or a "participant." we are usually watchers. however, i do agree that trail's end does servce a great breakfast buffet. you might want to try both since you are staying at the lodge. enjoy!

The antics were at a "high" level the one time we had breakfast at WCC. I'd hate to think it could get worse at dinner----

I just read another thread that said they were staying away from WCC because it was changing to a more toned down atmosphere with some antics but not as much as before. Apparently people were complaining and they are changing things. I don't know if it's true-this is what I read tonight. I will try breakfast there. Thanks for the review. :sunny:

That's too bad.
I am not a fan of WCC by any means, but lots of folks like it the way it is. The solution (for me) was just not to go back. I'd never think of complaining and trying to change it. I just went elsewhere.
I reallly hope they can keep it "as is".

We went to both breakfast and dinner last fall and there was lots of silliness at both meals. Maybe even more at Bfast than dinner!
