hey, I have 1 spare credit, cannot decide wether to use it to upgrade our meal at WCC to artist point, or to book something else instead??? like a lunch somewhere??
Ideally I would have liked to upgrade our res at the wave for one at the Cali grill but i cannot get any reservations!! if this comes up then i will swap to this but for now???

a big fan of Artist Point. I think upgrading from WCC is very much worth the one credit.

Agree. WCC is a real hit-or-miss place (mostly miss for me), while AP is one of the nicer restaurants on property.

Artist Point is a very nice restaurant with some great and unsual offerings. WCC is one of 3 places at WDW where I will no longer dine. So I would pick AP.

Why all the hating on WCC? I have never eaten there before, but have ADR for there - the menu looked real good to me. Now you're making me nervous.

i think that if we can't get cali grill we will go for artist point! I have read a lot about WCC but we are already doing HDDR and Ohanas this trip which have similar food, so I think a change to Artists point would be good!!
We are DVC members now so would like to go to the lodge to have a look around as this is a hotel we can use our points at that we have never been to!!:thumbsup2
Just know now a table at Cali grill will open up now that I have made my mind up!!! If it does, we are going to planet hollywood twice and raglan rd once, I may cut one of these for an earl of sandwhich and a OOP Ghiradellis!!! ha ha!!!:rotfl::banana:

We picked WCC (unless I change my mind again!) We will visit Wilderness Lodge one night for dinner. DH and DW would love to go to Artist Point but we know DS5 will have more fun at WCC. Ther other thing about WCC is it is right off the lobby which is more visually appealing than what we might see at Artist Point, especially in December when the Christmas tree will be up.

I'd love to try the food at Artist Point, but I'd need to make another signature dinner a non-signature one. That would probably be Brown Derby but I'd like to try that one too. So, WCC it is.

We were at WCC in Nov. 2008 and the food was great. OK, it's not fine dining - but we liked the canyon skillet and the waitress was fun to kid around with. The only downside I think is for people trying to enjoy the lobby with all the noise coming from WCC.

Coming from my experiences, I'd say ditch WCC. Upgrade to Artist Point if you really want to eat at Wilderness Lodge, or find two other one-ticket options.
