How is wheelchair access to the new Nemo show at AK? I was there solo in December (without DS who uses WC). I didn't see the show but saw the line. If I recall correctly, people were waiting in line on a very long downhill slope. Do I remember correctly?

The line is on a long slope and yes the line is "handicapped" accessible according to the Cast Members. We didn't have a problem because my daughter has a motorized wheelchair. I could see where it would be a problem for manual wheelchairs. Maybe since the CMs could see Jackie's chair they told us to get in the regular line. I would check with the CMs at the top of the hill (entrance to the theater) and see if you can wait up there with a manual wheelchair.

Once you get to the top of the hill the do have a separate entrance for wheelchairs and they have wheelchair seating on three levels (top, middle and bottom). We sat at the bottom, I'd go for middle next time because we missed some of the parts of the show that happened behind us.

We were there over Thxgiving, so a pretty busy time. DS has a manual wheelchair (a Zippie).

The CMs advised us to get there about 10-15 mins before the show, then showed us right in to the top-most wheelchair seating section. They were letting people in for the show already so no big wait, and certainly not on a hill (would have simply used the foot brake on DS's wheelchair anyway).

I am glad to hear the queve is managable. Nemo is new since we last visited, and Kim and I are both looking forward to giving it a go.
