Almost finished with the hot tub room. We just have one glass cabinet to clear out and then everything on top of the hot tub. We'll take off tomorrow and get that room finished on Friday. Then we'll have 5 rooms done and 6 more to go. We're almost half way there.

Most of the stuff in the living room comes with me and it's many many more turtles....hahaha. John is not going to like it! Oh well!!

For Nana and V....is it easier to read my posts now? It's funny, when I go to post something I automatically put the green on and then delete it and then I post. It's on autopilot. haha. I have to retrain myself by thinking about it. It's just too funny.

I'm starting to get anxious...i have 1 maybe 2, root canals tomorrow....AFTER I drop off Freckles to get her shots & get fixed. We'll be a pair tomorrow afternoon

I expect we'll be dozing a lot!

I decided to take Friday off too...not sure how my mouth will be feeling, so decided, why not. Freckles will be wearing a cone for the next 7-10 days, so I want to make sure she's not trying to do too much either.

Just make sure they knock you out and give you good drugs for afterwards. Do you have someone to drive you?

Maybe Freckles will need good drugs too. You can ask. You can both nurse each other back to good health. Hope you both heal quickly.

Tyler is going to be sooooo excited when he gets his birthday present this year! His birthday is 5/29, which is a Wednesday, so I'm going to surprise him by letting him miss school Thursday and Friday (there's only 1 week of school left after that, so he won't be missing anything substantive), we'll leave early Thursday morning and head to Cedar Point where we're booked at their indoor water park for 2 nights! We'll get to use the water park any time Thurs, Fri and Sat, and we already have our Cedar Point season passes (got those in October), so we can come and go whenever we want. He will finally get to experience a weekday/school day when the park isn't so busy. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Deb- sounds like packing is going well. I have a hard time letting go of a lot of my things too, but I've been making an effort. Don't worry about the turtles- I have a big collection of piggies and they will follow me everywhere, and you don't want to know how many stuffed animals live at my house!

Holly- indoor water park sounds awesome! Tyler is going to love that.


It was a long day here. I had to undergo all kinds of tests to make sure I'm ok for surgery. The surgeon still isn't sure which method to use- he will have to see the easiest way to get it out once I'm under anesthesia. They marked my tummy for a colostomy bag just in case it's needed, but hopefully not. So I'm on track for surgery Tuesday morning. I am trying to find a hotel for Monday night because it would be easier to do all the colon prep and sleep close to the hospital since they will probably want me there at 5 am, but NYC hotels are expensive! I'll Priceline some more tomorrow! Off to bed now!

TGIF! But I do have enough work to work all weekend if I were able. I will be all by myself today, not one single other person in the office all day (other than our paychecks getting dropped off), so at least it will be quiet with no distractions, which will help me plow through as much as possible.

YES I think our packing is going well so far. We haven't hit the really hard rooms yet. They will be next. I'm glad to hear that you have a collection of piggies. You know how I feel about my turtles.

Keeping the prayers, pixie dust and positive thoughts going for your surgery on Tuesday. I hope you're able to get a hotel room for a decent price on Monday night. It will make it so much easier to stay in the City the night before. I'll be thinking of you all day on Tuesday. Just keep thinking of Mickey on Mickey's ship and dancing to the calypso music down the deck. That's what I do when I have to do any medical procedures. It helps.
