I sent him a card, must have gotten in Saturday, but he mentioned it yesterday.

Licensing exam is 1st 1/2 of April. He's struggling right now, said he's not grasping everything. I'm continuing to send him texts every few days to let him know i'm thinking of him & believe in him, but this is getting tough for me. I know we're in the home stretch, but I'm missing him a lot. Luckily someone else is around now to help me not think about him all the time. hehehe

Now I have to go and stiffen Evelyn's cross and get that ready to go to CA... The christening is March 17th in TX... we won't be going. Too much stress from what happened over Xmas for me and they haven't offered mom a ticket to visit since then...

Holly- poor Tyler- I hope he got some good sleep last night. My kids were really tired too.

Sorry I haven't been around much. It was a crazy week. They scheduled my surgery for 3/6/13, but still aren't sure how they're getting the tumor out!! Right now, I'm scheduled for both versions of the surgery and they will have to make a final decision this week after another exam. So I'm back in the city on Wednesday and will hopefully get some more answers. It's all very frustrating and nerve wrecking. Josh is coming with me this week and is taking off the day of my surgery, but I don't know how many days he can take off overall. Meanwhile, I've been leaning towards pushing for the abdominal surgery with the mechanical arm so that I can avoid the colostomy bag and the second surgery to remove it, and there were all these commercials on tv yesterday about "bad robot surgery" lawsuits. I can't believe this!

Everyone else is doing well. Olivia had a little show yesterday afternoon with the performance club, and josh and I may get to have dinner together tonight, which would be nice. I'm thinking a lot about what may happen if this surgery doesn't go well and that's weighing on me a lot, so it will be nice if I can take a night to think about happy things with my husband instead.

I did not see anything on the news about bad robotics so can only guess. My opinion on a lot of those "exposees" is that someone wants his 15 minutes of fame on a video so he can use it to pad his resume.

BUT
Tom had robotics for removal of his prostate due to cancer in 2009. His recovery was quick and he continues to do well. They have only had MORE experience since then.

Quiet day here...

working on some cool ties for a friend of mine (one of Bendy's friendies) who has breast cancer. the meds she's on will cause hot flashes... sooo... I had to go out and find some mickey fabric...

I can't believe that we made 120 of those things for the PC cruise... never again!!!

We don't do FE so after I learned about these I made two and decided that was TOO MANY!

I did 12 this time. All going to friends who will be needing then for medical reasons. I had to search for the Mickey material. It's a cute comics design, but i wish i could have found the blue with the mickeys again. That was easy to us.

Of course you only use about a tsp. of the crystals for a cool tie and i had to buy a 1 lb bag!!! so I am going to give some to my neighbor so his flower boxes won't dry out again this summer...

All of them were awake! You never can tell with my kids. It's easier that way because they can walk in the house on their own. They fell right asleep though, which was also good

OH NO you have to wait another month. I thought it was March 1st. So sorry sweetie. I know how hard it is. I had a hard time grasping everything too and it's a hard test so you have to know your stuff. Tell him to study with someone who is already trading, it will help.

So glad Freckles is there to give you some loving instead. I know it's not the same thing, but it's something and it's good too.

Hang in there.....the time will go quickly and you'll be together again. Hugs!!!

Thanks Ginamarie, that's why it's a good thing that it's five years after I lost my mom. I don't think I would have been able to do it any earlier. But I'm ok now. I'm getting through it.

It's break time while John packs up the things we're taking. The rest of the things are being left for the kid or finding the garbage. The funny thing is that I don't know what of my mom's I have. I didn't pick it out. My brother packed what he thought I would want. I never went to my mother's house and told my brother what I wanted. He packed the whole house out and left me boxes of her things. So it's all a surprise to me.

GM....I'm thinking of you right now and sending you some pixie dust that it's all good news for you today.

I DID IT.....I finally released owning all my old record albums. I have four boxes of fair-good conditioned albums from the 60s and 70s that are all classic rock right now. I put them on craigslist for $100 total and I'm even throwing in a bunch of 45s. I just want them out of my house. I'm sure I could get more for them, but I'm not so sure how to go about that. So a bargain it is! Let's see if they even sell. I put some other items for sale on craigslist too. Let's see if anything sells.

It's just hard and sentimental to give up my albums and my spreakers, yup they are up for sale too, both for $50. They are large professional spreakers that my brother gave me so many years ago. I'm sad that it's time to get rid of them.

John is getting tired of packing turtles. He keeps asking me, "Is this one coming too?" And the answer is always, YES! I'm going to keep a running tally when I unpack them....just to see how many I really do have. I bet it's up around 1,000. I have many of them in every room in the house. I'm not going to put them all out in my new home, but I want them all with me. I'll switch them around from time to time. haha.
