Thank you Deb, yes I am better. I rested and napped for two days that I took off from doing anything. John worked more on it today until he stopped to cook dinner. We'll do some more tomorrow.

I'm trying to think that THAT is when I'll get to see the guy next. His exam is the 1st week of April, so am trying to give him all the space he needs. We had a big talk 2 nights ago....me telling him that he needs to not worry about me & that if he needs to forget me for now, that's what he needs to do. He said he does worry about me, doesn't want me thinking he's forgotten about me. He apologized for being crazy busy, and i told him that I understand. Poor Holly - she got texts from me that night cuz I was & bawling. Telling the person you care about that you will bow out of his life until he has room for you is really tough.....add the hormones to that and all hell breaks loose!

I had a dream last night that I won that trip to Cancun & he did go with me...that would be wonderful. I'll have to be living on dreams & fantasies for a while

OH Mon, you sure are a very strong person to say that. I'm sure he's relieved by your gesture even though it's tearing you apart. April 1st is right around the corner. Maybe when his test is over you two can go away for a weekend, even if it's only to Fort Lauderdale or some place close by. AND two months is nothing as compared to the rest of your life. Don't count him out just yet.....he could be THE ONE. He could be doing all of this to have a stable and good income and career. He could be doing all of this for you. Men are like that. They don't want to commit until they are stable and able. He sounds like he at least wants to put himself in a position in case that's where the two of you are going. That's an awesome compliment. Believe him when he tells you to just hang in there. It's not a long wait when you compare it to forever!!

I love your dream. Let's hope it's a premonition.

Well... we're ready for the storm...

Latest... we're supposed to get between 10 & 24 inches.. depending on the track of the storm... a little to the west and we get plowed under...

I have my brownie mix... and a back up of cupcakes... we should be fine...

Jay will come and dig us out on Saturday...

I don't know if I'll have pics or not.. I have to find my camera cord. which is a good reason to spend tomorrow cleaning the office...

James will come and plow us out on Saturday too.....cha ching! I'm sure mine costs more than yours because mine is so long and steep. James usually gets to our house around 3-4pm so we won't be going anywhere until at least then.

PLEASE take pictures of the grill when it stops snowing. I can't wait to see.

OH how nice. Does she rent a place down there or stay with a friend? I bet you wish you could join her, even for a little bit. Miami is hot hot hot!!!

She goes down often because her uncle and his partner live there. She is their dog/house sitter when they travel. She also keeps an eye on her uncle when his partner travels. This time she'll be helping his partner recover from back surgery, drive him to and from PT 3 days a week and just help him do things he can't do until he's healed. Her uncle is in his late 80s I believe, so he can't help much and his partner didn't want to go stay in a rehab facility, so.. ..off she goes.

I'm awake and John is still asleep. The house is quiet. I'm just waiting for the snow to come. I'm not sure how much snow we're supposed to get, but I know we're getting snow. I just called the kid. He went to work today. I told him that he needed to either come home early or stay at the university overnight. I said no matter what, do not drive home in a blizzard. Newark is getting a blizzard. He would be in blizzard conditions for most of his ride home, not just snow. That's not safe and he is not a good driver like John. He told me that he's not staying at the university. He said he is coming home so he'll take a half a day and leave early. Good!

I'm glad John is home safe with me. I'm worried about the kid. I hope he gets out early enough to get a jump on it. We'll see.

That is so nice of her to do. Your mom is such a sweetheart. That's not easy to do and for so long. It's not like she's out on the beach all day everyday. She will be working hard. Good for her!!!! Way to GO Susan!!!!

We are staying in today because of the snow. Josh usually works 2pm-midnight, but with the weather expected to be so bad, he is working from home instead. Olivia is at school but they are letting her out at 1 and the bus will take her home.

Hi Ginamarie, when is the WBTA in 2014? That sounds like one that everybody might want to go on depending on the time of year. It's worth throwing it out there. It's a compromise for those that want a long cruise but not a cold one, but yet it's not the carribbean again either.

So I think I could hear up my family for WBTA in 2014. This year we wound up booking RCCL because the Disney pricing was too much for the itineraries we've done a few times already. We are doing a week at Kidani and then a week on Freedom of the Seas.

Well.. the snow started... big puffy flakes... probably be very heavy snow - they are warning of power outages...

I think we'll be ok. Our utilities are underground.. but you never know about other areas...

Thanks Ginamarie and Michelle. I would love to do the WBTA but it's in September. Most families can't do that time of year because of school. All the kids are older now and can't miss so much school. I think we're better off sticking with July for that reason.

You're going to have an awesome time at Kidani and then on RCCL this year. Then it's going to get even better with the WBTA in 2014. I wish they did it in July. Then we could do it for our reunion. Oh well. You have a blast!!!

We got lucky. We have less than an inch but mixed with ice. We must be on the mix line. They keep saying that the heavy snow has not started yet. We're supposed to get around 6 inches. But so far, so good.
