I'm pretty sure unless it is on the keyboard or directly in front of the monitor it won't suit her :rotfl2: per Sookie these are the only acceptable places.

Though Jasper prefers to lay in the chair behind me and slowly pushes until I'm sitting on just the edge.

When Bean was living with me when my friend Amy moved.. he liked to lay behind the laptop where it was warm...

of course I also had Boo.. his kitty bro in the cat bed next to me and Max, the Wonder Dog laying over my feet...

I think it was love...

I made a spot for :cat: in my office already. Moved some stuff around so that she has a spot to lay in, where she can watch me & I can reach her to pet her.

I'm pretty sure that she will pick out her place and you will have to like it.:thumbsup2

Cats will always pick a spot where they are totally in the way and make it their own. My associate and I often work in his home office and I wind up typing with the yellow lab resting his head on my lap and one of the cats settled directly under my computer screen.

We booked the WBTA for next year, so at least I had some great news today!

The surgeon said he would recommend an abdominal method of removing the tumor- good because I wouldn't need the colostomy bag and the extra surgery to remove it, but he's still concerned because its a difficult surgery to do. All of the oncologists meet on Monday and then they will make a decision on what is best. So we are still getting somewhere slowly but surely!

Sending lots of love and prayers for a good decision Ginamarie...

& hey... the WBTA... :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

This is Mark and Veronica's Mardi gras pic with Evelyn... I don't think she looks too happy being over the king cake.. but as they said...they found the baby!!!!

Exactly V.....just like I keep making tents out of my nice tink blanket for ella. If I don't do it, she sticks her head under and pulls the blanket with her claws. It's easier to just do it.

Awwwwww......she looks so tiny still. But so adorable. Hahaha about finding the baby in the King cake.

We worked on kitchen things today. We did great until we ran out of shipping tape. So we packed boxes and didn't seal them. The kid brought some tape home with him tonight. We'll do a little bit tomorrow, but then take off most of the day. I can only do every other day. John too because he gets sore knees and back. So we rest inbetween packing days.

Our freezer and refrigerator look naked! All the magnets and door signs from all of our cruises are packed away.

After the kitchen, we move to the bathroom. That should go quickly.

It's taking so long to do the dining room/kitchen area because in addition to glassware, I have sooooooooo many turtles. So far, they're all coming with me.

Ok - I must vent....not sure if I'm liking this person much right now....must decide if I want to continue to associate with them.

I emailed to say that I was not going to be doing something on Saturday that had been planned for 3 of us (not that I had even committed to doing anything) since it was going to be Freckles' first few days in a new place, so I didn't want to abandon her....

my friend's response....

Welcome to a 15 year commitment. I know that sound cynical but I’m actually really pleased for you that you consider yourself up to the challenge and the commitment.

ok - vent over :rotfl:

Way to go Deb on the packing!!

GM - hope the other surgery works out & that all the Dr's can be in agreement. :grouphug:

Michelle - baby pic is cute...didn't really like the looks of the cake :lmao:

Tell her that at least you'll have someone cute and cuddly to curl up with who will give you unconditional love (just as long as you get the salmon flavored treats...) :lmao:

I think she's pissed cause she won't be able to have any...

Veronica's family is from NOLA... thus the cake...

I just hope I get my greedy little hands on her and get to spoil her silly some time soon... (gotta get my aunt points in you know...)

You should be able to back out of anything you want at any time. You have that right. Nobody should be mad for it, they should be understanding.

As a good mommy you definitely need to spend some bonding time with Freckles when she first arrives. She's still a baby at ten months and she will be unfamiliar with you and her surroundings.

I don't understand the comment that this person made. It makes no sense to me and it's not nice at all. AND it's unreasonable.

OK off my soapbox.

Well Monica it sounds like you should listen to her advice. She is an expert after all, seeing how her response was so catty. Meow.

That's what I was thinking, Lisa! :rotfl2: I can't imagine a cat laying in a designated spot! Don't worry Monica, Freckles will train you quickly, LOL! You're gonna have so much fun! Busy times ahead! ;)

Ella is sleeping right next to me, has to be touching me....actually leaning on me.....and we're on the couch. Except that Ella has a tinkerbell blanket over her and I have to put one end on the back of the couch to make it like a tent for her. She'll sleep there all afternoon.

Angel is at my feet on the other side laying on the floor. I'm surrounded too. haha.

Awww! :goodvibes

Very promising news, Ginamarie! I hope you have an answer soon so they can take action. :grouphug: Good to have the cruise to focus on during this!
