As I recall both of you were thick as thieves while we were on Big Thunder Mountain.

I'll make sure the travel agent changes us to the late seating. She's booked a few times for us and knows we prefer late, but I'll double check.

Thanks Nan! I'm still waiting for my quote, but I just went on to the DCL site and they still have cat 11's for a price I would book I'm still hoping for a cat 12 at a little cheaper price, but figure my quote from DU can't be any higher than what's being offered now so this trip will be a go

Kathe and Nan, I just got my DU quote.....it's the exact same price that I wrote down this morning from the DCL site.....I only have a $600 deposit and I get a $300 shipboard credit. So the price is the same, but the deposit amount and shipboard credit is good. I'm booking it!

Nan, the sideways room is set up differently than the reg one, it's supposed to feel more spacious. I haven't seen one myself yet, but Cherie, Ian and Sukie and I have three of these cabins booked side by side on the Tortola cruise! I requested a cat 12 for the TA but did ask that if I couldn't get it, to please try for a CAT 11 sideways. Maybe we'll end up being neighbours

Are the deposits more on the TA than regular, or is it because we are over hte phone and not online?

hey guys --- update on my motorcycle guy....he's in ICU and in very critical condition. They had a small blip in the paper YESTERDAY, but he is more serious than what is listed....broken bones, internal injuries, etc.....thank god for all his helmet was on.....he is 22 and she is 43.......the accident is being investigated and even though her car was drivable, it was towed.....

as the investigation continues, seems like all us witnesses saw something different. I could care less about that, I just hope he is ok, and I hope she is (mentally) as well.....just as a witness to this, I feel screwed up, I can't imagine being the one who caused it.


BUT.....there may be a chance to be an advocate of something here.......when we won both the basketball and football titles....a young kid from Venice, a student at UF.....was drunk, had other people in the car, etc and after the celebration.....plowed into a standing cop on the street killing him......so in that instant two families lives ended....yes, he was so wrong....no drinking and driving........but gosh....maybe around the whole stadium should be closed on game weekends - there are just people walking and milling about EVERYWHERE....maybe Gville should offer free rides (taxis, busses, tow trucks) on weekends. here at the beach on holiday weekends...the tow businesses will give you a ride and tow your car home with you. maybe I am talking out of my ***....two to four feet difference and that bike would have taken the four of us out as well.

anyway, please pray Jonathan is going to be ok!

It's the 11 night southern which also takes place during Christmas.....so it's the southern christmas cruise.

I have no clue what the deposit rules are. I was very surprised to find out that's all I have to put down.....but I'm not complaining.

I only have one B2B cruise in 09 and one southern christmas cruise in 2010. That's all. Jackie and Marilyn and Monica have all the choices for 2010.....they're very confusing.
