I found a bit of a clip with Wilson on the track on youtube.

He is with his friend Jarret practing at Dixon before the IKF race. Wil comes into screen at ~50 seconds and then again looks like he got lapped in the next around.

His friend Jarret is a great kid with great parents and he is a bit of a dare devil you can see by this tape

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V46UelQoF1Y

Still wish I could get my hands on the tape from Reno where he wins...working it working it...

Oh I see a bit of dare devil.

I do nervous when I was racing with go kart.

I will tell Ian to see it as he loved go karter, shame he had gave it up two years ago over too expensive plus travel etc.

Hi Mandy, good to see you here  I am looking forward to meeting you on the Tortola cruise :thumbsup2

looking forward to meeting you too!

Oh, sorry you are awake. It is so annoying isn't it?

Weather looks good again today. Can't believe it, but not complaining. Still light coat weather though which is a shock after 2 weeks of sun tops and shorts!!

John is day off today so we will be going out for a walk I think.

Beautiful here again too Marilyn, though very chilly out of the sun.

So, I had better get moving - I have to keep him sweet at the moment with the cruise bookings on the horizon.:lmao:

:thumbsup2

sorry you have rain Deborah....hope you get your new straighteners sorted!:thumbsup2

Holly, it sounds very positive about Tyler, good luck!

I'm joining in about the weight loss and things. Last year DH and I decided we really needed to kick start a healthier life style and took up the gym and eating more healthily. We've lost over 35 lbs each since last November and are still going. It's very slow but steady. I've always had a problem with diets but am trying very hard this time. I may need lots of encouragement!:rolleyes1

Good to hear that there are others doing well too, Deb, Jackie and others....:dance3:

Well, we're off to the Cotswolds today. This is a link for those of you not familiar with the area....

My lovely Dad has rented a house for all the family to spend the weekend together at a water park there. Becky won't be there of course, and my niece will be working but the rest of the 'Clampets' will be in residence :cool1:

I'll be back later on Monday so will check in then. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend :grouphug:

Holly.. that's because we all HAVE 27 dresses in the closet.. with matching shoes... :lmao:
I assume you're joking! What made the movie so funny to me was laughing at the idea of somebody actually doing that! :rotfl2:

Good Morning all Bipeds (And Nan).

I'm back! Nothing to report.

My fast was fairly easy. I ending up going about 26 hours or so without food or water.

I was in services for most of the day, except for a 3-hour rest break in the afternoon. I went home, sat down and fell asleep.

Sukie came to the evening/concluding memorial service with me in the late afternoon.

Back to work this morning.

Glad your fast was fairly easy Ian. Seems very hard for me to go without anything at all for that long.

Have a good day's work.

Welcome back Ian! We missed you.

Good Morning fellow cruisers. Happy Friday to all!

Marilyn, keep sweetening up John so that you get to cruise where you want.

Angel, what an awesome place you'll be visiting this weekend. Enjoy your family time, even though you'll miss Becky and your niece.

Holly, that's such great news about Tyler. You just have to get the meds right and he'll be fine.

Michelle, it's so sweet that you miss Michael's voice. I understand these are hard times for those in financial positions. Hang in there, it will turn around.

Ian, I'm glad you had an easy fast. Thanks for the info to help us understand. My only question is why do you atone after the New Year? I would think that you would want to atone first and then celebrate the New Year after......just my own personal logic.

Kathe, Happy Turkey Day weekend. Hope you have a nice time with the family.

Nan, keep looking for Speed's winning race.....you'll find it. What a pro he looks like! Thanks for sharing the link.

Deborah, your hair always looks good. Hope you have fun with Alison.

I just wrote my first letter to my nephew in Marine boot camp. WOW that's scary. He's only 18. He's such a kid to me. I can't believe he's in the military.

He graduates in December and me and John will go.

morning all and Happy friday!

We are headed to Gainesville in the am, big game tomorrow. Then home on Sunday to rest up for the week.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Haven't had time to look at them yet, as I have to get ready for work!

Hello Angie and V! ::wave::

,,,,,,off to get ready for work.

Because of you, I'm still a non-smoker. It'll be one year this New Year's Eve. I'm looking forward to that burst of energy that you talked about. John is still smoking, but he doesn't do it in front of me. Hopefully, he'll gain control of it when he's ready.

We miss you and Dr. Hug!!!

:yay: :cheer2: Good for you! I knew you would do it! Yes, John will take the step when he is ready and you will be there to be his support.

We miss you too! :grouphug:

Can you take me with you??? I know.. PJ gets first dibs... :)

There is always room for one more! Tyler gets to sit shotgun with DrHug though!

"He" is a new :lovestruc in my life... we sort of started before the cruise - we've been good friends for about 15 years... He travels alot for work but it's not something I didn't know about so it's good...(although Gaylean thinks I should look elsewhere... ) He was indeed the first call on my voicemail when I landed in LA...

He's overseas working right now... been there for about 2 weeks...with all this craziness with the markets and all... I get email, but I miss his voice enough to play his voicemails over once in a while...

You know I am a hopeless romantic. I LOVE that you play his voicemals to hear his voice.

:dance3: :dance3: Angie.:cool1: So good to see you. Glad you are settled now and almost ready for the off to the warmth somewhere.:)

The WB TA is one of our options for 2010. That would be cool to cruise with you again. Is PJ looking at that too? It doesn't seem 'too' expensive, though of course the one way airfares push up the cost. I'm also working on John for the first Baltic, but thoses cruises need a mortgage!

I don't know if PJ is considering but she did check a couple of airfare options. She might be convinced though if we offer her our couch. :thumbsup2

Since I am going out of town this weekend, this will probably be my last update until Monday.
