fortunately when I called my sister we laughed together. You can't cry so you laugh. I just wish that we could come up with something to keep her busy so she wouldn't obsess over stuff like a braclet in the repaor shop

the holidays are coming so that will give us time to be together and then the big trip.

This Thanksgiving will be a real anniversary for Paul and I. We got married on the Tday weekend and this year it falls on the same date. I'm trying to think of something fun to do, maybe I will suprise him with a night at the hotel we stayed at on our wedding night, that might be fun. It's local so easy to do for a night.

Next week we have some friends kids as they are going to Hawaii

I would love to go back to the place we went on our wedding night I love New Year's Eve

I'm way behind. Life has been crazy busy, and things won't slow down until after our federal election in 15days. I'm way back on page 30, but between tonight and tomorrow I will get caught up.

Poor Ken had teeth pulled last Monday and is still sore and slightly swollen. His mom was just up for a short visit all the way from Kansas City. So of course, I spent some time last week, making the house look at least semi-presentable. She just redid her kitchen a few months ago, so she understands that chaos we're in.

I'm ging to try posting a couple of pictures, hopefully it works

Here's a picture of Shaelyn in her Brownie uniform. I think the little brown dresses from back in my day were more official looking, but the T-shirt and pants are way more practical.

And here's one of a very proud Shaelyn with her "student of the month" award. Her school has a theme every month and each teacher gets to pick a few students to get the award, which is handed out at the month end assembly. So she's one of many to get it, but she was thrilled. The theme was playing by the rules.

I miss my sanity breaks (and laughs) from reading the posts here, so will be getting caught up this week. No matter how busy, I'm realizing I need to make room for some relaxing or I go nuts (or more nuts than I already am )

No, we are going right home....Daniel can't miss any college and my girls are in middle school and hight school now....they are already missing 4 days....

Daniel and I are talking about maybe coming down in Jan. he does not go back to school till Jan 22nd

I've only heard good things about Adderrall. I think he'll eventually need an anti anxiety pill but I know they can't give him those until he is older. I know someone with almost the same problem. Her son is 21 now and that is the only thing that worked. I hope you can find something soon.

One of the things the Risperdal is for (the pill he's been on the longest) is for anxiety (plus aggression and impulsiveness).

Sorry to heard about Tyler at school.

Same with Olivia - she is bad behaviour at home.

But she had a good behaviour at school.

She supposed to be attended homework classes every Monday. Well she left school and walking home alone.

Her teacher got panic and drove to my house with my son and told Olivia off.

I got home from work and I don't understand why she walked home alone as she know she must with Keith.

Today I had meeting with support teacher and she make up the chart for her.

I try stop worry but I cannot help it

Ian, I asked John about this and he said that if the dogs upstairs' water bowl is on the hardwood floor and they are sloppy drinkers, over the course of time it could cause water damage to you. We had this with one of our dogs in the past. He was such a sloppy drinker that the wood under his water bowl rotted away eventually. Something to consider.

One more thing to think about.....if the upstairs plumming runs through your ceiling space and the cold water pipe is not insulated properly, condensation may be causing your issues. This would also explain the intermittent frequency of occurrence.

Both of these things are common problems and should be considered as possible causes for your leaks.

Hope this helps.

PS One more thing, consider the upstairs neighbors overwatering their plants.....if they have any in the vacinity of your leaks.....if consistently done over a period of time.....yada yada yada!

I have to giggle a bit about the pipes being insulated ... the house was built in 1913, there is only 1 pipe in the entire house that has insulation around it.

Sukie and I had a long talk about it and we think the tenants are doing something.

We once had water coming down all the way into the basement when they were doing something with their shower, we also had to replace part of a wall in our bathroom due to severe water damage. The wall replaced relates to where the pipes run up for their kitchen sink.

None of these "leaks" ever continued or appeared again.

Please check with John, but I'm fairly sure that a leak doesn't magically fix itself ... once a pipe starts leaking, it continues until it's fixed. None of these have happened again.

So, they MUST be doing something upstairs and probably ashamed to admit to anything.

I just got confirmation for a timeshare exchange for the 22nd-29th of November in a studio. I'll go down for the weekend of the 22nd (not sure if will drive in Monday am or Sunday eve), drive home for the 24th-3nts (or 2 if I drive in Monday am), then back the 26th-3nts.

I won't drive Monday if I end up working 830a-530p like I'm supposed to...or maybe if I am scheduled that, I'll swap w/ someone for that day only and come in at 1015am.

Ian, no, if it leaks, it leaks. unless some one takes action it can only get worse. thats why I ran through my list of "what can cause" reoccurring, yet not always. I had a call at work one day "My computer lost Power" I get to the office, check the electrical, find no issues, I ask the lady if she would like me to check the hardware, when I moved the large potted plant off of the top of the server, water poured down my arm!!!!! some times it is just that easy.....Water and electricity do not mix

Thanks John, you confirmed our belief that if we had a leak, it wouldn't go away. So it's either something spilling, being allowed to over flow, or something else.

All I know, the burn mark across the ceiling and all of the water spots are not pretty.

Ironically, the tenant's ceilings are perfect, and they have the roof above them!
