Bingo! Thanks Gaylean! Well, I've told people, it's no secret, but just haven't had time to tell everybody. So when others come to tell me goodbye tomorrow, I'll sure surprise them! ;)

And our office manager's SUPER mad at me for working out this deal with one of the partners instead of asking her, but the lawyers are my bosses, so of course that's who I'd talk to.

So, do you get health insurance? When is your review?

Nan, I still go to the patio palm website often just to daydream. I fell in love with the product and it's my dream to live somewhere with a place to put one. I actually told my brother in Tennessee about it, thinking he'd like one by his pool near one of the waterfalls. I never heard a response from him, but I just think they're so cool!

It is a really cool product, just not a well run company. The stock that is left is just the end of it's life. I don't know how long he will keep the website up and running. We have 2 extra palms in boxes for when we move to the beach, and one that is set up, trees grow in odd numbers ya know :thumbsup2

Oh, I already KNOW I do. The only one I haven't seen is the most recent movie. When the original Star Wars was in the theaters way back when I was a little kid, I made my dad take me 10 times to see it! :rotfl2: And I had all the character pins they gave out with the Funmeal at Burger Chef! ;)

    The only thing worse is Lord of the Rings

have they changed up his meds....maybe the new meds are making him worse?
Nope, he's been consistently the same. He's the same this school year as last school year (he was suspended THREE times last year, most for 3 days at a time). The summer was better I think because although the summer child care was held in a school, it wasn't run like school. Just fun and games all day every day with lots of field trips and swimming every day, water balloon fights, etc. He did have a few incidents of hurting kids, but nowhere near as much as during each school year.

We just added a 2nd med this past Friday that's supposed to be another one that reduces impulsiveness, just a 15 day script to see what that does, so fingers crossed for better days.

Yes, I was supposed to receive health insurance a couple months ago, it's just crappy because it has a $2500 deductible per year and I never go to the doctor enough to meet that, BUT since I'm almost 40, it's good to have for those things that might start going wrong. They just haven't given me any paperwork or information on it yet. I keep trying to remember to ask about it but get too busy every day.

My yearly review is the end of March.

His dad gets PISSED when I tell him this. I'm thinking they have one for younger kids, I think I saw it many years ago on the Maury Povich show! :rotfl2:

Ethan had a friend that went to military school so maybe that's the same. This kid actually lives there and goes to school there. He still isn't back so I'll let you know if it works :lmao:

OMG, my 9th grader was given this book to read the first day of school. I forgot how gross it is....I had to read it with her because it made her sick.

Aw, that's a sad ending for such a neat idea.

But he may need more of both or one. It is so hard to find the right ones. Don't give up. My friend's kid was a zombie for so long because he was off and on so many. They finally found the right one :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: No, this is like a week long boot camp where they break the kids down and torture them into behaving from then on out.

Jon loves it so he keeps trying but I always fall asleep or come on here :goodvibes

I'll give you boot camp for free. Just send him over here. Jon scares all the kids just by looking at them

Yeah, they increased the original med (Risperdal), then decreased it back to the original dose when there was absolutely no change, then added the Concerta for the impulsivness. I assume we need to give it some time to see whether the added med has any effect. But we were only given a 15 day script of that one with no refills, so I'll have to decide before that runs out so I can call the Dr. and either ask for more or try the Adderall that he also gave us 15 days of.
