Did anyone watch the presidents address? It was interesting, more of what we already know. It was about time he addressed it though. At least we know someone is paying attention!

I did, and I usually don't pay attention to stuff like that. Unfortunately, it's all Greek to me. I listened, but just don't understand what it all really means. I just want to know how it will affect me, otherwise I don't understand. I've always been quite dense about financial things. Sure, I care that it seems like it will affect everybody, but I don't understand it at all or exactly what it means to everybody.

oh and tonight i totally did the old lady fall! I walked outside my back door to toss some trash and my lovely daughter left her skateboard right side up on the step. AND DoWn I went! I have some lovely scratches that will turn into even lovelier bruises, but at least I didn't break anything! Such a clutz!

NO! But when I'm 44, at the rate I'm going, I won't be able to stay up past 10pm! I'm definitely not aging well.

Sounds like for now Dad is going to have to step it up and help out if Tyler has problems, even if it's your day with him. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Remember they have a house of 2 adults, maybe they "can" step up and add a little more help in this regard????

Not sure about that. He's the one who runs the show at work, so he can't just leave. He's usually in the middle of some meeting or other, meetings that he's running, and it's all time sensitive, as in he might be in the middle of a multimillion dollar bidding process, where the bidding goes on for a couple more hours. He's the one who does the bidding for the company, so if he left during that process that gets the jobs for the whole company, he'd surely be without a job and then we'd all be screwed. Not trying to defend him, but it's just the nature of his job. Stepmom would be more likely to be able to leave, but for both of them, it depends on what city they're working in at the time and how many hours away they are. I'm always right here in town. We'll just wing it and see how it goes, and I'll just have to call him each time and see what we can arrange on a case by case basis.

And I might just tell the school I can't receive phone calls at work and they have to just call my cell phone. I'll listen to the message so I know whether Tyler's hurt or sick, but if that's not the case, I'll let them call his dad and tell him they can't reach me.

Tonight was another school event for us at Wilson's school. Seems today is The Real Mexican Independence Day and that was what we celebrated. In the past you've seen our cinco de mayo pictures, there will be no more

Wilson did a great dance with the same girl he danced with in Kinder (I think he likes her )

I took video, I'll try to upload it to youtube or photobucket. The dance was really cute.

Off now, we are leaving for Reno at noon, yes another race

I might bring my laptop, not sure yet. If I don't have a good weekend and I'll catch ya when I get back.

Sounds cute! We haven't had one single school event yet. The only thing they had was the back to school orientation which was one evening the week before school started. We didn't go because of Tyler's karate graduation.

Off to work now. I was awake until about 4am because my head was pounding too hard to sleep. Only an ice pack gave me a bit of relief. Of course it didn't make the migraine go away, it just made it numb so that I could fall asleep for a couple hours. The moment I got out of bed it started pounding again. I highly doubt I'll make it all day at work and might end up going home after our 11am appointment with Tyler's psychiatrist.

I was out this morning to shopping at Musselburgh about 4 miles to drive. It is my favourite place. Yes, I spend the money, I bought crafts thing for making the cards, bought white dress from sales not sure if Olivia would like it or not. I spoted charity shop, a beautiful dress for 5 pounds (10 dollars) as the dress is so beautiful can wear for xmas or cruise. But no cruise next year, maybe wedding!! Bought make up for myself.

Oh dear you got headache again look like you are stress. It can be worst. Please take easy. Hope Tyler's psychiatrist go well.

I was not spending my honeymoon meeting some other girl from his past Maybe you come here I send Paul there and we send all the kids to Cheri, or Monica, or Michelle????

Yes, but this migraine actually started Sunday morning before anything bad with Tyler. I'm sure all his problems this week isn't helping the migraine go away though.

Me having to leave early to pick Tyler up from school yesterday created a big stir around the office. They're all worried about what will happen when I have to do this at the new job. They're afraid of me getting fired and being with a job, so negotiations started taking place yesterday to see if I can stay here and make all parties happy. The only person who will be upset is the new employer when I tell him I'm not joinging his staff (if that's what happens). It was foolish of me to consider leaving here when they NEVER have complained once about me having to miss work to remove Tyler from school and/or his doctor's appointments, and nobody has ever held it against me for when it's time to get a pay raise every year. Why would I throw that away for a place that's already told me they do NOT make such accommodations? Yesterday was just a wake up call I suppose.

Did not sleep well at all last night....kept trying to figure out what could be done to my house to allow my parents to have their own space while I have my own space. Picturing new door here, new space there....not sure if it would work. Think I'll go jump on Realtor.com and check out some things.

Need to talk to my sister about this - forgot to call her last night until it was about 1030pm. Can't call her tonight as the 2hr Grey's is on tonight, followed by new ER (which will be recorded).

Need to talk to my parents too---but about Spain not this other stuff--not yet.

That's what the "energizer bunny" lawyer is trying to negotiate for me. He wants me to stay and is having discussions today to try to get me the same pay. It is only about $2000/year more, so it's not that much and definitely not worth losing my flexibility to deal with Tyler's issues without fear of getting fired.

No. They can't change the insurance plan for the whole firm (and it's just not possible to have a different plan for one person), but possibly increased pay to make up for having the big yearly deductible that the new place wouldn't have. I should know something by the end of today because they want me to be able to tell the new employer I changed my mind quickly if that ends up being the case.

I'm wondering if the Ice Queen will show up at the appointment today with Tyler's dad and me. I sort of doubt it, since she seems to have stopped coming to things (which is fine with me), and when I dropped Tyler off on Wednesday, his dad was home, but when she got home, she walked from the front yard where she parked straight to the back yard without coming inside while I was there.

But if she does show, I'm too damned tired to care, after only 2 hours of sleep. I can't even function very well today. Feel like I'm sleepwalking. BUT at least my head has finally stopped pounding (after 3 days).
