Right back at'cha babe!:hug: :hug: :hug: :hug:
Except you know I'll be gone as soon as Tyler gets here, so don't feel bad if I just disappear. :hug: I suspect they stopped to get him something to eat on the way here since it's past suppertime. I won't even be upset if they get him McDonald's because from what his dad told me, he's been doing a great job of monitoring what Tyler eats and reducing portions. He admitted to me on the phone yesterday that he feels to blame about Tyler's weight because he used to just let him eat WHATEVER he wanted! :scared1: He never noticed his belly until I started asking him to feed him healthier things, then the next time he saw his belly in the bath he was shocked! I'd been trying to tell him for A YEAR! When Tyler turned 5 his weight was already more than it should be and it just got worse over the last year.

I was worried about this med because the doctor told us the biggest side effect is increased appetite and therefore, weight gain. BUT I've never once hear Tyler asking for more, or asking for food when it's not mealtime, so he didn't get that side effect. Might be more of a problem if he were on a higher dose.

Food Find

Allow me to share my latest food find with you all:

Arnold Select - Sandwich Thins

Serving = 1 roll
Cal = 100
Fat = 1g
Fiber = 5g

By my WW points calculator it is ... 1 point.

It comes in a variety of flavors and I have made some nice sandwiches with it already.

Today I had a 1 point veggie burger with 2 slices of FF cheese and the sandwich thin, total = 3 points.

That's why I took a walk to the supermarket, to get some more packages of Sandwich Thins. We've decided they're a big hit at our house.
Well, when I read the words "sandwich thin", I immediately assumed it was a low cal sandwich cookie, especially since you mentioned they come in rolls. :rotfl2: But when I read you make sandwiches with it I'm confused. Is it bread? Or is it something that goes on your sandwich?

I found the cutest toad today as I was getting my mower out. I almost stepped on it, then it hopped into my garage. Each time I went in there, it was hiding partially under the corner of a giant duffle bag, just peeking out at me. I hope Tyler gets home while it's still light enough outside for me to show him (no lights inside the garage). He'll love it!

I hope Tyler gets home soon then. It should still stay light out for another hour at least right???? I think the sun is going down now though. Tyler better get home soon so he can see the toad. Or it may still be there tomorrow. Ya never know.

Oh my gosh, I'm totally having a blonde moment that's lasting all day! Sorry Ian, I now get it.....Roll, as in bread. My mind was picturing a sleeve of Girl Scout thin mint cookies and I call that a "roll" of cookies.

I'll still be here.....I will be bringing my laptop and we'll be in a hot spot and I have a broadband access card. I'll be dising in the car on the ride down even. Don't forget the pictures. I'll be posting everyday.

Look for me early morning and late night.....I expect to be busy for the rest of the time.:banana: :banana:

We're countin on you Deb!!! Put your feet up... rest... and let us know of your adventures!!!

Where is everybody today? Not even an Ian and Sukie outting to laugh about. Where did Michelle go? It's probably too late for Marilyn now. Where did all the Disers go?

took a quick break to get a few things done around here...

No stories today. Nothing happened.

We got all of our errands done last night and so did nothing today.

The most exciting thing I did today was take a walk around the "hood" and to the supermarket.

Sukie is working tonight. He just left the house.

I'm sitting here waiting for the cable guy.

Hope you have put in emergency supplies... they're always late... any good DVD'd to watch???

Hmmm, no, the appointment was between 4PM and 6PM.

Nothing much for me to do now other than wait. I suppose I'll just play with my latest video game on the Wii.

I've already done all of my productive things for today, including getting ready for my 3 WW meetings tomorrow morning.

So what's our theme this week??

Good find... have to see if they hit the east coast yet...

There might be a whole family of toads in there! ;) I don't go in the garage very often because it's mostly where my lawnmower and yard tools live. And you all know how often I do yardwork. :rotfl2:

Ian, are you still filling in for somebody that you have 3 WW meetings tomorrow?

You are in the same time zone as me right? It's already after 6pm. Did you get any phone call saying that the installer is going to be late?

Holly... have you gone blonde since May???:flower3:

I sure wish Subway delivered. I had Subway yesterday and the day before (I get the $5 footlong and eat 1/2 each day) and I still want more! I managed one from when I was 20 to 26, ate a sub every day, and never got sick of them. Yummy! Same with Little Caesars but I think I only worked there 2 years.

Oh, I can so relate. Maybe that's what I'll have as my cheat meal tomorrow. I'm supposed to have the weekend off, but I still have leftover diet food so I just keep eating it.......today too. Tomorrow I'm going to cheat with Subway!

He's central time... It's me and Holly who are here with you in the east.. :)

I realized we'll always have to deal with each other, he's the one who didn't do so well with that, probably because it was awkward for stepmom, I'm not sure. But maybe when she was doing her Ice Queen routine, and because she was that way for over 2 months, maybe he just got tired of the drama and decided to just be nice regardless of what she thinks. I have no idea.

It's a "guy" thing.....I'm clueless!:confused3

:rotfl2: Nope, but when I was in my early 20s, I boyfriend used to ask me, "Are you sure you're not blonde and just dye your hair brown to hide it?" because I have so many "blonde moments". I call them my non-blonde blonde moments. :rotfl:

Oh....I have no idea why I thought the appointment was supposed to be in the morning. Well, stick around here to waste time! Deb and I can provide lots of reading entertainment for you. ;)

Why YES, of course, and please do feel free to join in!:rotfl:

OK Ian, I got it......sandwich thins by Arnold Select.....thanks for that info. Only one question......what are slices of FF cheese. I'm drawing a blank.

To me, they're French Fries! Ha:lmao:

I suspect the cable guy showed up since Ian disappeared. Unless he's googling to find a picture of those sandwich thins so I can see what the heck he's talking about.

Or it may not happen at all, which would be a good thing.

How could his dad not notice that he had been gaining weight for a year! Is he that blind?:confused:

Book anytime you need to.....I fully understand.
