He's definitely not very observant! Tyler's doctor told me he weighs more than 98% of all boys his age and height and if he gains any more, he'll be in the at risk category for weight related conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.But everything I'd been doing to work at that was being undone at his dad's. However, after I told him what the doctor said, he understood the urgency and has been doing much better. Tyler's been working hard too, because he heard everything the doctor told me. He's doing situps all the time and always asks me if a particular food is good for him, etc.
AND he lost 2 pounds last month (he gets weight at his med checks each month).I was just hoping for no increase.
I think it's a great thing that he's learning this now. Then he'll be able to do it his whole life and never have that urgency to start it when he turns 40 and begins to gain.
YEAH that he lost 2 lbs already. Good Job Tyler!
