I was asking Paul last night if he was upset about me being so tired this week and if he was prepared for this not to go away anytime soon. He believes it will be worth it in the end. I'm not so sure.

We have had our 3rd largest travel company go under today. 85,000 people stranded all over the world, with a good number in Florida. What an upsetting time. Apparently we are to expect many more airlines to close too. Worrying.

Hey Jacks, I think you have to call it in by Wed and then you get it the following week.....for your area, it would be on Friday. So if you call tomorrow then you miss the Wed cut off for this week and will probably have to wait until the following Wed order and then delivery the following week on Friday. Does that make any sense? I hope so. But see what they tell you when you call. Good Luck!

Web site said you had till Sunday to order to make Monday shipping...didn't say anything about the call-in, though I know I have to do it today between 9-5 Eastern. I'll let you know what happens!

From what I think people have figured out is that cruises are going to be 12 nighters.

This is what is mentioned on another website (not sure if I can mention it or not so to be safe I won't)....

2010 Special Cruise Itineraries
Disney has not yet officially announced any special itineraries for 2010.

However, I believe the Magic will cruise to Northern Europe and the Baltic in June and July 2010, on a 12-night itinerary. The port schedule for Copenhagen, Denmark shows the Magic will be in port on June 15, June 27, July 9 and July 21. It also shows the ship will be arriving from Oslo and departing for Warnemunde (port closest to Berlin).

Cruises to Alaska in summer 2010 were previously rumored, based on the fact that Disney has requested a permit to visit Glacier Bay from 2010-2019. However, Glacier Bay permits are granted only once every 10 years. Getting a permit now is the only way Disney can cruise to that area of Alaska during the entire period (2010-2019). If it is granted the permit, Disney can release any years it does not intend to use. I believe it is more likely that Disney would begin cruising to Alaska once its new ships come online in 2011 and 2012.

WOW, why did that lady yell at you just for calling in and following up. What a be-atch she is......I would NOT want to be around her for any length of time. That family needs to make some changes. Some one needs to be available for those small kids and it's not going to be a teacher who is already responsible for a classroom full of kids......one of those parents needs a career change!

How can that teacher keep his job with so many absences. On all the jobs that I worked on.......in the days when I did work........sick days were given but never to be taken.........you had better be in the hospital. I can't believe that the teacher is getting away with that.

I'm not sure. I guess the four months they have off already isn't enough The weird thing is that his kindergarten teacher was out for a long time because her father set her mother on fire. One of them died and the other was in recovery for a long time. I understand that. His first grade teacher's mother was in ICU for months so she was off a lot. His second grade teacher was never absent. I know there are circumstances but your child being sick eight days out of 14 isn't a good one. Someone needs to change careers.

I've always had extremely good experiences with the French.

Of course I do speak French, though while not sparkling, at least well enough to hold a conversation.

I have quite a few friends who are French.

I do get a bit tired of various people, usually waitresses, dragging others over to our table and saying, "Oh, please say more, you're accent is soooo cute!" (Votre accent est très mignion, vous ne parle pas comme un American) (Of course all of this is going on in French)

So you get French. Are we going anywhere that we need to speak French?

Yes but Jon calmed me down. He kept telling me that there were plenty of single parents that don't call in sick all the time. Well I had a feeling about this one and I think I'm right. I'll give it a few more weeks and talk to him to see what happened.
