That would be crazy. I didn't want to get off the ship after 15 but I can't imagine 85. Plus I'd have to go by myself because Jon could never get that much time off.

Anytime! We usually go towards the end of Oct. when the trees start to turn to fall colors. Google June lake, its beautiful, no matter what season.

Have you checked into a professional pet sitter?

We used one while we were living in San Diego and it worked out great - and it was cheaper than boarding. Though we have cats so only needed one visit a day - not sure how many Tallulah and Truman would need.

We miss the days when Darrell was in grad school and we had friends who would stay with the cats for nothing more than access to our cable (we had HBO + Cinemax ) .

Thank you for the suggestion, but I have not been able to find anyone I can afford.

Truman and Tallulah need someone here with them. If there's nobody home then they are in their crate.

Because Sukie works at home, they're used to being out of it all day.

Oh I forgot to tell you how bad I am peeling. Remember when we went to the beach that last friday before school started. I forgot sunscreen and now I am peeling on my chest and face. Jon keeps teasing me and telling me he won't touch my skin cancer

Yup Yup. But like many other things, they have been over harvested and poached so its nothing like it used to be. Also one of the last places in Calif you can drive on the sand at the beach.
