FOUND THEM!!!!

They were in my Poly sweatshirt pocket... :yay: :yay: :yay:

funny thing is... I asked St. Anthony and he always comes through...it may not be right away and he usually makes you work for it...

So I went out to my car last night to look... no keys...

Came back inside and went to bed...

At 2:30 am I had this sensation (I usually get them with St. A...) Go back to the car he says... I sat upright in bed... dragged my behind out, threw on some warmer clothes and shoes... went out to the car and found...

I had left the lights on in the car... :scared1:

Nice call St. A... :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Now if he could just find my stitching that I took on the ship with me... :confused3

What were you stitching? :confused3

Jan :earsgirl:

Its a long weekend for us too :cool1: We're planning to tackle getting the brick facing off the kitchen wall  It will not be fun, but it will be good to see it gone!

Sounds like someone put Z-bricks on there. What do you plan instead?
http://www.z-brick.com/

We put some on a cement foundation-wall in our first house that used to be outdoors until we added a room. Made it look more finished. I wonder if later owners wanted that changed. I never thought about that before....:confused3

Jan :earsgirl:

Thanks for clearing that one up. I had to go to Facebook to see that you posted IAN IS CHASING RAINBOWS. Wheew, what a relief, one less thing to worry about.....:confused3

Jan :rotfl:

I might be running out of things to say that I'm doing on Facebook.

Ian - can you please PM me your address??? PLEASE??

Problem is we drive a Corolla - so we may have to rent a U-Haul if the store we buy at doesn't offer local delivery so we don't want to try going that far.

I may stop in while we're down there somtime though as I love all the little things they have too!

Ok - that makes sense :thumbsup2

This is great Marilyn, thanks for that tip. I gave John the info to check the link you sent. Our other option is Emeril's Tchoup Chop. It's on Universal property and we've been there a couple of times already. We love it. We were just looking forward to doing something different.

John said he doesn't want to wear "a monkey suit" so I think that leaves out the Grand Floridian. I guess he wants to do a cruise casual. What is the dress code at Seasons52?

HE DID IT!!!!!

WILSON TOOK 2nd PLACE!!!!!

THIS IS SUCH A GOOD DAY FOR HIM.

I wish I was there to give him a big hug!!!!

I get to see them in about 3 hours, I think we might make a celebration for him to come home to.

This is the best place he has had in the IKF series. This is the race series that we travel all around Northern Ca for. WOW, such a great day, I'm so proud of him

WHAT A PRO!! GO WILSON GO!! Make sure when you celebrate tonight, you tell him that all his cruising buddies are also very proud of him. That's quite an accomplishment jumping from a steady 4th into 2nd. WAY TO GO WIL!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Ok, It is official that I can't keep up so I'll just keep popping in...did read a bit....saw some green and figured Deb was back:goodvibes
Deb, sorry you are still suffering with this, but it does sound like things are moving in the right direction. Do you know what the infection is?? Have they told you Staph or Strep or something else? I have had many patients battle this over the years and have had great success in getting it to stop coming back. I don't know if there are ND's in PA, but it might be worth a try, or you could PM me if you wanted some simple advice. Without seeing it myself I would have a hard time really treating you (or anyone) from such a distance. But my thoughts are with you....you can beat this!!! :cool1:

Speaking of that...Gaylean...weren't we talking about something right before I got sick....my mind is a bit of a blur, remind me if we were.......

Nan....CONGRATS to Wil. Can't wait to hear how he did in the final. Text me when you find out, I'm not sure I'll be on line too much this weekend.

I tried to do some searching on some Seattle sites I know for possible hints about DCL and AK, but I didn't come up with anything. So, I guess we just need to wait and see. Oct. 7 is the date, right?

I was able to go to the Hawks game last night and watch them win! :yay: It wasn't as bad as a typical game since it wasn't sold out, but I think I'll be able to manage the crowds as long as Scott stays on my L side. :cheer2:

Have a great long weekend everyone!

Hi Kaylee, we love to see you here with us, you are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo missed!

Thanks for all the wonderful info. I'm going to PM you soon with all the boring details.

Glad your Hawks won for you and that you got to be there live and in person. Hugs to Scott and the girls and then right back to you!

I'm back - IKEA was a zoo! I haven't seen it that crazy since opening week! VERY glad to be out of there!

I did get my chair---and the foot rest that goes with it. Now just need to put it together---maybe later.

Ok about Baskin Robbins---my 1st job....celebrated my 16th bday at work w/ 2 guys that I had crushes on...1 I ended up dating, and the 2nd ended up being my prom date :lovestruc

Deb--are we going to try to get together while you're here??

WAY TO GO WILSON!!

Hi Monica.....I LOVE the chair and footstool and I like the black better too.

What great sweet 16 memories you have.....priceless!

We are ABSOLUTELY going to see each other while we're there.....I still have to get my goodbye hug from before disembarking....remember how we tried and it was just way too crowded and we never connected? I'm still waiting for that hug from you!

We'll be there right after you get back from Lisa's and you can show us all your pics of Ian and Sydney.

We'll be available from Friday, Sept 26.....checking into Staybridge Suites right down the road from DTD.....same place we stayed last time we met you at Fridays.....and available Sat 9/27 and Sun 9/28 and Monday 9/29 day. We want to do dinner alone together on Monday night. We check out on Tuesday 9/30. Remember that Epcot Food and Wine Fest will be starting when we get there. You may have to work. We're on vaca. So let us know when it's good to get together with you and where you would like to meet. We can do Fridays again or food at the hotel (order in of course), or pick some other spot convenient for you.

Lisa what are your and Darrell's plans? Are you coming to Orlando for the day or for the weekend? Do you want to get together with Monica and us too? The more, the merrier!
:goodvibes :goodvibes

Can a person be "dating" for 21 years?

I just never thought marriage would happen in my lifetime.

I'm was beginning to feel a bit like Adelaide's Lament from Guys and Dolls:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wc9xDFTe0AE

Just celebrate your first date day and your wedding day.....whatever happens inbetween is kismit.....21 years or a lifetime....it's all good.

I'm so happy they finally changed the laws, at least in CA, so that you and Sukie CAN get married legally in your lifetime. It's a small step of progress, but we'll take it!

Well, that had to be a favorite job of yours then :lovestruc

I just had a nice reunion phone call with my 1st boyfriend :lovestruc My high school is having a multi class reunion and I google my old beau and sent him an email last night and he called.

We dated until he went away to college (UC Davis) and he then met his future wife and married her his last year in college. I often think of how I dodged that bullet. I can't even think of my life on fast forward with kids in my 20s instead of 30s with Paul.

It was a nice talk. Found out he lost his dad from liver cancer in 99, that part was sad of course.

He was the pilot that I first dated. I took my first flight lesson from his older brother who was an instructor, he now flys for United.

Interesting walk down memory lane....

Mon, what does the chair look like, linkie please :flower3:

What a great day you're having Nan. Wilson's 2nd place and the old beau phone call down memory lane. It makes you know you've made all the right choices in life and wouldn't want to change a thing.:cutie:

We've been through a lot in 21 years, so I know what you mean.

About 5 years ago I had to have emergency surgery, and was in the hospital for nearly a week. I don't know who needed the comforting more, Sukie or me. Actually he did. I was the one on morphine, but he was a mess.

A couple of years ago while at work I started having chest pains, and got carted off to the hospital.

I told my boss that she should call Sukie and not the office manager. The office manager was quicker and gave Sukie the wrong hospital information.

He called looking for me can could not find me. I think he had to be peeled off the ceiling.

I'm not quite sure how he finally found the right hospital.

Funny story - Sukie once got carted off to the hospital. He was lying on a gurney and during the intake they asked him if he was allergic to anything. He said, "Yes, bad taste."
Ha Ha So Funny....

Funny too how Sukie can joke about his own ills, but when you're the one sick he goes off the deep end. It's true love. It's great knowing that you're there to take care of each other.

Since the Dining Plan started it is getting harder and harder to get reservations. And resort guests can make reservations 180 days out - which I think is way too far!! How will I know what I want to eat 6 months out :confused3 Most days I can't even decide before leaving to go to work - probably why we eat out a lot :thumbsup2

I KNOW! Isn't it just aweful? Oh well!

So I just tried to make a dinner resie for Ohana at the Poly for our anniversary night......nope.....sold out already and it's not even Sept yet and I'm making a reservation for a Monday night at the end of Sept. Wow! I had no idea I had to do it so far in advance. Not sure where we'll end up going that night now. Any ideas?:confused3

Keep trying and be flexible... you may get an opening... other wise... I hear Spoodles is a good choice..

Oh, do tell us.....

tell me more, tell me more.....
:cheer2:
:upsidedow :upsidedow :upsidedow

My grandmother told my grandfather (mom's side) to bring home a Xmas tree (this was during the depression...) He went out for a few after work with the guys and totally forgot the tree... he bought the one in the bar and brought it home... but it was only 1/2 a tree...cut in half!!! :rotfl2: It was hanging on the wall of the bar!!! My grandmother had very smartly bought one off a guy who was selling them off a cart...

Oh NO Michelle, remember that Monica said she could feel the effects of the bands in Orlando and Gustav is just passing Cuba. Even if it comes onto land in New Orleans, you're way too close to it.....you're going to get hit hard. Aren't you on the water in Texas? It's supposed to hit land Monday sometime. New Orleans is being evacuated today. Be smart and be careful. I'm going to be worried about you now.

Yes Deb... I am.. I am on the other side of Galveston Bay... from where the hurricane warnings are.

My sister and her husband insist it will not come here...

I'm trying to figure out if I'm really related to them...

I'm on my way out to get a phone charger and some water... and M&M's...

HE DID IT!!!!!

WILSON TOOK 2nd PLACE!!!!!

THIS IS SUCH A GOOD DAY FOR HIM.

Now if that isn't  I don't know what is...
