Sorry I'm late to the party. Got busy and didn't get on here.

So here you go:

Now I'm only over 100 pages behind. Shannon hasn't done very well at keeping me up to date.

Although she did tell me that Oct is what we are waiting for now with release of the cruise itineraries for 2010. Guess I know her priorities!! LOL
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

HEY everybody! :goodvibes I was super swamped at work today, and then after work I had tons of running around to do because it was payday. NOW I can finally sit down and relax. But I'm really hungry, so I'm gonna go eat first before catching up here. Maybe. Unless the temptation is too strong! Resistance is futile! ;)

I hope they all fizzle and nothing really makes landfall! I did just peak at the projected paths...does it look like Hanna might interfere with the Magic's homecoming on Monday? It just seems to be hanging out there off the coast over the weekend......
Oh, how I'd love to be on a ship that wasn't able to make it back on the right day! :cloud9: With travel insurance, that is. One of my co-workers had that happen once on the Magic and they were given a hefty discount off their next cruise. Double bonus! Extra day onboard for free, and discounted next cruise!

I used Flickr to put all the door magnets I was doing before the cruise.

For all the rest of my pics I use a place called Dropshots.com. I really like them because it is really simple to upload pics to and they are organized based on date (digital cameras encode each pic you take with a little bit of info such as the date it was taken on so long as the date and time on your camera are set correctly). In addition the site allows people to make comments on your pics as well.

You can take a look at my Dropshots page here: www.dropshots.com/knewell

To get a pic to post on the Disboards you have to use what is known as the "image tags". In short you take the website address of the pic (http://www.yourpicsaddress.com/pic1.jpg) and put it in between the "image tags". The tags are "[img ] ____ [/img ] (just take out the spaces).

Your full entry would then look like this (without the spaces):

[img ]http://www.yourpicsaddress.com/pic1.jpg[/img ]

Or if you are in full editor mode there is an icon in the tools that looks like a mountain with a yellow background, click on that and little window will pop open where you put the web address of your pic and hit enter and it will go into your post with the "image tags" automatically.

Probably already answered but I needed to mark my spot. Less than 50 pages to go!
So I actually could have posted pics from any of the sites I tried, just by using the
after. I didn't know that because I'm just used to how easy photobucket is, where you just click on the code and then I plop it into the text of my post and the picture shows up. :rotfl: Photobucket for me is like posting pictures for dummies! I love how easy it is and was so sad when it wasn't working for whatever reason. But it's back now, so I don't have to worry about it. And it wasn't my computer acting up because every other website I went to worked fine. Photobucket just wouldn't fully load on my screen for some reason. Strange.

Oh Ian, I remembered to rent Zoolander tonight! ;) Will watch it later, or maybe tomorrow morning.

Oh, and I also rented "What Happens in Vegas". Looks good!

Now......off to eat my dinner before I start chewing on the computer. Back later to catch up more.

Just captured this shot of the Miraflores Locks 8 ish PM.
Doesn't it look like liquid gold or copper?

Holly, even using the img, it didn't work for me....still just got a link.

Hey, anybody staying at THIS hotel next week?

Greetings from Wellington, New Zealand. We're staying at a charming B&B in a renovated late Victorian villa with antique furniture. It's just lovely.

Woody
Hi Woody! Sounds wonderful! Pictures please! :goodvibes

I thought this was funny

alcohol.jpg

I saw a guy in downtown Indianapolis one time holding a sign that said
WHY LIE, I WANT BOOZE

I did not help him.

Our new Mayor has arranged for metal collection boxes to be situated downtown near where pan-handlers hang out. Written on them it says that money put in them will be given to the various programs -- and there are plenty -- in the city that feed, house and clothe people.

Anyone who wants to make a donation can. It will go to people who really know how to help and not to people who want drugs or drinks. The pan-handlers nearby see it happen too.

Jan ::yes::

Woody??? How did you get there???
Don't you love how Woody pops in and tells us where he is and then leaves us hanging?! Last time at least we got pictures! Woody: Details, man, we want details please! ;)

We did a pirate birthday for Shaelyn a few years back. We had the kids decorate pirate bandanas. Shannon just cut some cheap white cloth into bandanas and then brought out the markers and the kids coloured on them. You could do pirate bandanas and princess crowns (just use cardboard for the crowns).

Both groups could decorate "treasure chests" as pirates seek treasure chests and princesses have them in their rooms.

Thanks - I think I saw foam pirate chest kits at Michael's. With coupons I could probably get them cheap.

Do you remember how cold it was on deck at night when we got to the Pacific? Those were warm nights in comparison.

Put it this way: Make sure your sleeping bags are rated for temps below 0. And yes I am talking about July and August.

For the record it is noon here and the temp is only 50*F. Monday is supposed to be sunny so it will reach a high of 62*F - but a low of 35*F
Wow! You probably never need to buy shorts, do you?

I am home from work.

I also arrived at a decision today (primarily because my boss told me I was being a jerk ... I'm taking Tuesday off from work! I was supposed to go in for 1 day after Labor Day, and then be out as of Wednesday when we leave for California.

So, I don't go back to work until September 10th.

.
Woohoo! Great idea! Way to go! :yay: :yay: :yay:
