We're only partly metric. We buy milk and gas by the litre, but we buy apples in 5lb bags. We measure ourselves in lbs and our height in ft/inches except for the doctors office when they always weigh us in kg. Where I work is even worse. We make MDF board on a press that is 30metres long and can press 8 or 10ft wide :lmao: :lmao: The press measures thickness in mm (millimetres) but the sanders do everything in thousands of a inch :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I can do many conversions in my head. Okay babbling, time to stop

 TOUCHDOWN:banana: sorry watching game and typing too!
WHOAH, I'd be too confused to live in Canada! ;)

Nope not that simple. Take F x5/9 then -32. Fahrenheit degrees aren't a consistent size, so they have to use a fraction in the conversion. YUCK

I'm almost as confused as Holly is tonight... I'll just stick to -32 and bluff it... if it's cold...it's cold... ;)

And Abe looks SO good in PURPLE!!! :lmao:

I thought of Disney Paint... but that was only when I was at Home Depot stealing Mickey heads for my stateroom door... :rotfl:

You're moving north???????????????????

Thumper is going to be one dead bunny if he doesn't stop eating my garden!!!:headache:

only a little further north. Bigger city, bigger airport, only get snow a week or 2 early each winter and a little more frequently, and family is there, so north is good!

Is that for knowing some conversions or for watching football and Dis'ing at the same time :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

HOLLY I had wondered if you went to sleep and forgot to say goodbye :)
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Or passed out from too much beer! I haven't done that either for about 16 years! Oh, wait, that's not true. Last time I did that was the last week of August in 2001. :rotfl:

I'm too lazy to click somewhere else. Must be I've had too much beer. I think mine has "Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy" on it, but I haven't been there in so long, I can't remember what's on there. Great song. I've always wanted to ride a cowboy, so it's appropriate.

I love :lovestruc Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy. I just went to Gaylean's myspace. I like the mellow beat of the song.:thumbsup2 When you said Dido I pictured a guy singing not a girl.

All of the above and then some. If you can make someone's clothes then you are a God to me. Plus it was pretty cool that you loved dancing with me!

:rotfl2: Never in my life have I been able to stay up until 6am! I like my sleep too much! Except, of course, the night we were booking excursions for our cruise. And the only reason I was able to stay up for that was because Tyler was up throwing up and hallucinating anyway with the flu!

Well you're missing out. You should watch the sunrise with a buzz before you die!!!! It's a trip. Oh wait...when does the sunrise over there!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I'd think further north would mean more snow!

:rotfl2: I sure wouldn't know, I've never been a morning person. ;)

I found that there is a very simple way to convert from C to F and get a fairly good "ish" idea of the temperature by doubling the number and adding 30 to give you a very rough approximation of what it is in Fahrenheit.

So, 10C would roughly be 50F, 20C would be 70F (where actually in an accurate conversion it is 68F). It is not exact but it's close enough to know how to dress.

Below zero it still approximates somewhat OK. If it's -10 C, you double it (-20) add 30 and you get 10F ... in an accurate conversion it would be 14F. Again close enough.

You like cowboys, do ya? I love corn fed white boys :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Bet none of you knew that I had such hidden talents.

Family is good... Snowshoes are better... :goodvibes

I really was! And you didn't even notice!

I was gone longer... nobody notices me either... :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: The only Peppermint Patty I remember is the one from Charlie Brown. Sorry sir!:lmao:

Me too... And I never realized that she and Marcy had a crush on Charlie Brown!!! Oh the things you learn when you grow up...

I need the easy button tomorrow! do you guys know what that is

Lisa's not back from the beach yet to give you one... sorry... :upsidedow
