Brooke has missed that craze apparently. I still have my Peppermint Patty and she still smells pretty!

Shaelyn got some SSC stuff for her 4th birthday and I still see it around in the stores. Smurf toys are trying to come back again too, but way more expensive than I remember.

You have Bambi poop on your lawn? All we get are Thumper droppings.

We had a bear in our backyard eating all the clover in the last place we lived in. He was awfully cute, but I was happy he never came back ::yes::

You mean it's gonna be farther :scared1: Oh well I guess that's only an hour or so longer!

What's another hour after you come 30 hours north :confused3 But seriously, if you make it into BC we can drive South and meet you somewhere:goodvibes

You beat me to it! That was Hildi. If I were on that show, and I found out she would be in MY house, I'd walk out on the show for sure. ;) I've never liked anything she's done.

I like about 1/4 of what she does, but when I don't like what she's done, she has usually damaged the place, which is just rude. I used to watch that show all the time, but quit watching when Paige left.

Hello.. My name is Michelle and I still haven't picked a color to paint my bedroom in... (it's ONLY been 3 years with the paint chips on the wall... :rolleyes1 )

I don't believe in color. I more or less prefer white walls, except our kitchen and dining room are two different shades of sage.

We did paint the front and back parlor a few years ago, one room was a rich purple and the other room was a color called heliotrope.

It was a disaster, because one room looked like a Victorian brothel and the heliotrope would have been more correctly named if it had been called "bruise."

I honestly don't know what we were thinking.

:yay: :yay: Ken just called at half time and told me how to get his lap top to work:banana: switching over to laptop now!

Didn't she one use latex wall paint to paint somebody's sofa and chair? That was the stupidest thing I ever saw, using wall paint on fabric.

Sure that would be comfy and hold up real well.

Here we had silver dollars, but they were a treat. I can remember getting one every Christmas from my piano teacher. But back in the 80's they switched to the loonie ($1) and then in the 90's came the twoonie ($2). It is practical, and helpful for saving money. Putting your spare change in a piggy bank can add up!

You Canadians have always been much more practical than us down here.

Observe how 2 third world countries plus the USA are the only non-metric countries left in the world.

Wait, I take it back ... we did officially go metric in the 1970's, they just forgot to tell anyone about it (... hence soda went to 2 liter and 1 liter bottles).

OK, I've never heard of this name, but my brain wanted it to say "Dodo", and I had a flash memory of Fred Flintstone eating dodo bird eggs for breakfast! :rotfl2:

Wow you need to stop drinking and watching cartoons :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

My favorite song is by Dido

My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why
I got out of bed at all
The morning rain clouds up my window
and I can't see at all
And even if I could it'd all be grey,
but your picture on my wall
It reminds me that it's not so bad,
it's not so bad

I drank too much last night, got bills to pay,
my head just feels in pain
I missed the bus and there'll be hell today,
I'm late for work again
And even if I'm there, they'll all imply
that I might not last the day
And then you call me and it's not so bad,
it's not so bad and

I want to thank you
for giving me the best day of my life
Oh just to be with you
is having the best day of my life

Push the door, I'm home at last
and I'm soaking through and through
Then you hand me a towel
and all I see is you
And even if my house falls down,
I wouldn't have a clue
Because you're near me and

I want to thank you
for giving me the best day of my life
Oh just to be with you
is having the best day of my life

I just added to my myspace if you guys want to hear it

what is "Heliotrope" is it purple bruise, brown bruise, or yellow-green bruise?

I loved the smurfs but I didn't have toys.

I can't wait. And we need to start planning because if we don't it will never happen.

We're only partly metric. We buy milk and gas by the litre, but we buy apples in 5lb bags. We measure ourselves in lbs and our height in ft/inches except for the doctors office when they always weigh us in kg. Where I work is even worse. We make MDF board on a press that is 30metres long and can press 8 or 10ft wide :lmao: :lmao: The press measures thickness in mm (millimetres) but the sanders do everything in thousands of a inch :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I can do many conversions in my head. Okay babbling, time to stop

 TOUCHDOWN:banana: sorry watching game and typing too!

Jon took ours and our desk chair broke so I'm sitting in a dinette chair and it's not comfy but I'll do it for you guys!

The paint color was called heliotrope, it was supposed to be a pale purple, but once spread out on the walls, it looked they they were bruised. It was a horrible color.

Color is the sign of the early 2000's. Don't you want to look back in 20 or 30 years and wonder what the heck you were thinking? It is a must!

CRAP! My computer pooped out on me and I had to restart it, which takes like 20 minutes, it's such a piece of junk. :headache:
