Marilyn, thank you. You made the morning here at Eastwood Manor.

I personally am not familiar with it, so I called Sukie into hear it. He said everybody in England knows it. Apparently it was also used in an advert in the '70's.

Hearing it seems to put Sukie in a very good mood this morning!

Can you program Mrs B to sing it to him every morning?

Jan :earsgirl:

I think's it time for me to call it a night!

Everyone have a good weekend!

And tell Brooke Happy Birthday!!! Is tomorrow her actual birth date?
Goodnight Lisa, thanks for hanging out with us, it was good chatting with you!

Can they make a Wii game to clean the house ;)

If only the Wii expanded throughout the whole house!:)

Think they do weddings???

Night Lisa... hey... is it strange to be signing off so early and leaving Gaylean to have all the fun??

I WOULD NEVER LET THOSE PEOPLE NEAR MY HOUSE!!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: (and I'm NOT kidding!!!) Hay on the walls... my butt... :sad2:

I read online somewhere that much of what they do is done so rushed it isn't done very well, just good enough to look okay for the cameras but not good enough to keep for a few years.

Hello.. My name is Michelle and I still haven't picked a color to paint my bedroom in... (it's ONLY been 3 years with the paint chips on the wall... :rolleyes1 )

I recommended going 2-toned. A dark colour for bottom half and a nice pale colour up top. Shaelyn has tinkerbell green on the bottom and pale pink up top with a sky blue ceiling, and fushia trim. (you like fushia right :) )

Tyler was too long for his toddler bed when he turned 3. It was very sad because it was a firetruck bed, so he was devastated to get rid of it. Keep in mind how he thinks he's a firefighter! So I took pictures of him with it, plus I had pictures from the day he got it, so he was a bit better able to handle losing that bed.

I just don't want to have to fit a real size bed into her room. We've delayed because she isn't asking too often for a real bed, and I'm convinced that one day within 9 months I will get a new job and we can move :cool1: and her toddler bed is so much easier to move than a real one.;)

Oh no I won't, because I don't have to get up tomorrow morning! You might not remember, but last Saturday I slept until 3pm! Well, I did get up for a short time in the morning but went right back to bed and slept all day. That helped me recover. :thumbsup2

I love those days when I can sleep in and I actually want to because I had a few drinks the night before. Do you remember the days where you would stay up until 6:00 am and then sleep all day and you would actually sleep and not toss and turn? I hate getting old. I'll probably be one of those old geezers that can't sleep past 5:00 am :scared1:

Strawberry Shortcake toys are still being sold throughout Walmarts of the world :)

Brooke has missed that craze apparently. I still have my Peppermint Patty and she still smells pretty!

that's right up there with some of the crazy things that happen on Trading Spaces - like the crazy one where they stapled artificial flowers all over the bathroom wall :scared1: how can you possibly keep that clean and sanitary
That must have been Hildi's design......She glued HAY to the walls one time!

Racecourse sounds neat. Unfortunately I know poop - the last 2 springs the deer come right through town, eat my tulips before they bloom and poop on my lawn

You have Bambi poop on your lawn? All we get are Thumper droppings.

I know what you mean. Then sleeping in was getting up in the afternoon, now sleeping in is staying asleep past 7:30am:sad1:

Did you see the one where they put hay all over the living room walls - it was hideous and a huge mess!
You beat me to it! That was Hildi. If I were on that show, and I found out she would be in MY house, I'd walk out on the show for sure. ;) I've never liked anything she's done.

I remember silver dollar coins when I was a kid.

They keep trying to bring back the $1.00 coin without much success, which is sort of a shame, because of the lifespan of a dollar bill and the cost of printing them is so high.

Here we had silver dollars, but they were a treat. I can remember getting one every Christmas from my piano teacher. But back in the 80's they switched to the loonie ($1) and then in the 90's came the twoonie ($2). It is practical, and helpful for saving money. Putting your spare change in a piggy bank can add up!

It was interesting to see how it all actually gets done. Good luck! get pictures and post them ::yes::
If I get picked to help, I'll probably be too busy to take pictures, but I'd sure like to try! Of course I'll slip my camera in my pocket just in case the opportunity pops up! ;)

We did sleep in on the cruise. We never went to bed until late and for some reason it just worked for our bodies to sleep in until 11:00 or so. Of course it did change as we got closer to LA.

You need a throony and a fouroony :lmao: :lmao:

I think it is Dido. It's on random and I'm not familiar with the song but it sounds like her voice.
OK, I've never heard of this name, but my brain wanted it to say "Dodo", and I had a flash memory of Fred Flintstone eating dodo bird eggs for breakfast! :rotfl2:
