I have had news that our wedding cake topper has left the UK and is on it's way to Kelly.

It was great! We laughed, had a great dinner, danced, had drinks, had fun catching up with everybody and seeing pictures of everybody's families, and looked at our old yearbooks, etc. We all want to do it again in 5 years, so people are working on that possiblity.Glad you and Tyler both had a good night

I do this too! I just let my DD borrow my luggage last week for her trip to Mexico, she found my stash of ziplocs in one of the "pockets", I told her take them, you will NEED them

Well, I really was busy today! And VERY happy about it too!Sure.. this from a woman who was complaining only last week she had no work to do!!!
My day absolutely flew by. I wish every day at work could go that quickly. 
I reminded him of all of that again, and told him how it used to be almost every day that he was hurting some other kid or in trouble for some other reason and told him he should feel very proud of himself and he told me he does. All smiles and just a happy camper. I told him this definitey deserves ice cream, so we grabbed some on our way home to have after dinner. Yummy!
You still have a friend traveling on this one with you, right? (I sometimes have a little trouble keeping track of everyone.) Also to other pals on this cruise, check out the currently St Thomas/St Jon thread....some lovely beach pictures posted there.

He was just sweeping up lawn clippings at another neighbor's house. He told me he saw not one single wasp or bee, so I must have killed them all that one day.

Lots of Olympics fans here, but not me. But here's something cool: a kid at Tyler's karate school won gold in Junior Olympics in some category (it went in one ear and out the other...sorry) and he came in to show his medal and plaque. Pretty cool!
I also added the transitions lenses for him so we don't have to keep losing his sunglasses clip, and when I explained to him what that means, and told him it's sort of like magic, I told him he gets to have a bit of Disney magic with him every day! Talk about a big smile, wow!
Highlight of Tyler's day: When we went to order new frames for his glasses last week, he wanted the exact same one. The woman at the store told me they don't have any in stock, but that she'd call the warehouse and see if she can find one. She called me a few days later to tell me it's been discontinued. So we had to go today to pick a new one. His current one is blue (sort of a grayish blue) that he picked out when he was 4 because his favorite color is blue. Well, he immediately spotted one that's even more blue and instantly fell in love. He tried on a few others just to be sure, but ended up choosing the blue ones. The clerk told him that's a good choice because they cost a bit less than the others, so that would make mom happy (yup, it did). Imagine Tyler's surprise when he finally noticed the name "Disney" on them! Even better, when we were sitting down while she entered everything in the computer, he noticed the MICKEY HEADS, one on the end of each part that goes over your ears (not sure what they're called)!
John... you are forgiven because Monica always wants to be over there!!!
Now I'm jealous!!! I want Mickey Glasses!!!! (Well, actually I want Tink... but I don't know if green would look good on me...)

I actually told the clerk the same thing! I told her I almost wish I needed glasses so I could get Mickey ones too, but she told me they're only in the kids' sizes. 
Tyler learned an important lesson tonight. I've told him before that if he doesn't stop leaving his dirty clothes on his bedroom floor, I won't wash them. I even got him a cool camoflage hamper to put them in. Well, I did laundry a couple days ago, and tonight when he went to put pajamas on, he had NONE. He asked me where they all are and I asked him if he left them on his bedroom floor. He told me yes, and I told him, well, I don't wash clothes that get left on the floor. So he immediately threw them all into his hamper and asked if I could please do laundry tonight. And tonight he had to just wear a t-shirt and a pair of pajama shorts that did get washed, but the shirt that goes with it never made it into the laundry.
