:yay: CONGRATULATIONS :yay:
Did you PM Linda and tell her what you told us?

Wish I could see it when the photos are in and it's done! ::yes::

Jan :earsgirl:
I did PM her with that info and also more added thanks. :thumbsup2

Pulling pictures from the PICTURE OF THE DAY 2 Thread that were taken on OUR CRUISE~!! :yay: Some may have been posted here before but if so, repetition is meant to be flattery. ;) Thanks to the original posters!!

Jan :earsgirl:
Wow, that's beautiful!

Monica, good to see you here again! And you too, V!

Kelly, sounds like you're living in the jungle! :rotfl:

I'm having a horrible time today, getting bombarded by e-mails from Tyler's dad AND stepmom about the prescription. They both claim they're seeing negative side effects and they're telling me about a friend's autistic nephew who was taking 4 times the dose Tyler is and was having bad effects, so they had to switch his med, now that scared them and they're saying they're going to ask the Dr. at the next appt to switch his med to the new one the autistic kid is on.

To each e-mail I've responded with a very short one or 2 sentence non-confrontational response, and they're so angry about it. Actually, I haven't responded to any of the stepmom's e-mails because I don't feel the need to explain myself to her.

I had a migraine this morning BEFORE this even started, and am about to lose my mind.

Then, the school called and told me Tyler's having such a rough day, if he doesn't get under control, they're going to ask me to pick him up. :scared:

Oh Holly, I wish I had a magic wand. You really are having to cope with so much at the moment. Hang in there and stick to your guns.

Thanks Marilyn. It's awful because he makes it sound like I'm not paying attention and that's why I'm not noticing the negative effects that he's noticing. But Tyler's with me more, so I'd see more. Good grief! What I've seen is that when he's angry, I've been able to divert or talk him out of it, rather than him having a full blowup. His dad admits he's seen that, but says Tyler's been "gazing", not running around as much as normal, not as interested in playing, and not as talkative. Well, we want him to not run around like crazy like he used to and to be calmer. For Pete's sake!

I just trust that the doctor will look at the reports I've asked school to do every day (thank goodness), and the info I'll tell him, and will see that the only different opinion is from his dad's house. That's what happened at our initial appointment, and he says he takes the majority vote (sort of). He knows what he's doing and knows where the conflict lies. I trust his judgment.

Holly - would Tyler really be having side effects already? I figured it would take longer for the meds to build up in his system. :confused3

I agree that you should be responding only to Dad's emails - while I do appreciate the fact that stepmom is looking out for Tyler, legally it's btwn you & Dad.

Remind them that no 2 people react the same way to the same med. They need to give this Rx time to work before wanting to jump onto something else.

We are doing the EB Repo and I'm wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on two excursions in Aruba: Sailaway Beach & Snorkle and the Snorkle and Sail. We are currently booked on the Snorkle and Sail, but I really want to experience a beach in Aruba. Both are from like 8:30-12:30 or so which surprises me since there seems to be more involved with the sailaway beach and snorkle including lunch. I was thinking it might be possible to get to a beach after the excursion though. Any advice?

Also, anyone do the Mexican Cooking Experience in Puerto Vallarta? We were going to do massages at Krystal that day, but may consider this instead.

Thanks!!

I didn't go on either on the excursions you are talking about but we went to the beach in Aruba at the hotel district and it was beautiful. We took a bus from the port that cost 1.35 per person. You can also take a cab for 10.00. The beach we went to was also accross the street from the butterfly farm so you could also do that if you wanted. If the excursion was over at 12:30 you could probably do everything. I saw that someone mentioned that the beach wasn't that tropical. I'm not sure where they went but ours was at the hotel district and it was very pretty and we could use their chairs and towels. They even had nice bathrooms to change in. People walked around and asked if you wanted a drink and there was a grill to eat at. It was a resort style place. The also had exotic birds in cages and huge lizzards just walking around. The hotels have casinos in them too if you get bored of the sun you can go check that out!

Here is a picture of the bus. I'll post a picture of the beach in a few minutes. I'm on my laptop and the pictures aren't on this computer.

Hello everyone. I checked in for the day Marilyn :lmao:

Holly, I'm sorry for what you are going through. It takes time to decide if the meds are the right ones. They won't kill him before you find out. I'm sure the doctors are monitoring him all the time.

Hello Monica. Marilyn told me to check in everyday and you have to do the same.

Ken it sounds like you guys are busy. I finally found out about the geocatching thing because I looked it up online. I think it is cool that you include the kids. How fun and not dorky at all!

Cheri and Jackie, glad to hear you guys got cars. Maybe driving around in new cars will help remove the memories of the crashes.

V from FL, where have you been? We keep missing each other on myspace! Actually, I haven't checked there yet so maybe you were on last night.

Venetia and Bubba, you haven't been posting but I know you are reading. I was busy the last two nights so no IM for me but maybe tomorrow since Mondays are game night in my house.

Jan, I wasn't anywhere just not able to come on.

Hello Michelle and Ian. I had nothing to comment to you guys, sorry. Keep typing they'll be something soon.

Kelly, we found a drive in movie in Montclair. That is close to us. I didn't know if that was closer to you than Riverside.

Anyone else I forgot should not be sad.

Those are exactly the responses I gave his dad. Then STEPMOM e-mailed me with "Why do you get defensive every time we try to share information?" :headache: :headache: :headache: Of course, I did not respond to her.
