I bet you could find a picture of Cookies on the PICTURE OF THE DAY 2 thread.

Jan :earsgirl:
Oh, I forgot about Cookies because we never seem to make it there. I meant the BBQ on the Panama crossing day. Yummy!

We definitely did! We stopped at Dollar Tree on our way to look for more double-sided tape so I can finish the scrap book. So while we were there, I also had to buy a couple bags of Belly Flops!

Not sure if anybody remembers, but a couple days ago I commented on how I was surprised to see Halloween stuff in the store. Well, today Tyler saw it and he said, "Mom, you're not going to believe what I saw! They have their Halloween things out and it's way too late for that!" I told him he means "too early", but I got the message. ;)

But we had fun and Tyler's been sound asleep for a few minutes.

What are Belly Flops?

Jan :earsgirl:

Boy, are we in trouble. He already sleeps 12 hours a night. ;)

Some of his need for sleep now might be related to the issues you are addressing with the MDs and therapists. If that much sleep helps him function, I say, let him sleep. :rotfl: I know it's not up to me, but I can say it anyway.

Jan :earsgirl:
Irregular Jelly Bellys. Most are just 2 that got stuck together, making a funky shaped giant Jelly Belly. The still taste the same though and are much cheaper. :thumbsup2

You've hit the nail on the head. He often falls asleep on the way home from school too. We get home, have supper, and start getting him ready for bed around 6:30 so he can be asleep by 7:30 (or we try to). If he's awake much later than 7:30, I have a horrible time waking him the next day. I mentioned to the occupational therapist long ago that I was going to ask his pediatrician, at what point should I be worried about how much he sleeps, because it's way more than other kids his age. She told me his body is running on such a high level of "alert" all the time, it's just physically exhausting for him. Totally makes sense.

So.....my hope is that, even though the med he's taking says it can make you sleepy, that if it reduces the anxiety and aggression, etc., that will help him not be so exhausted by the end of the day and maybe not need so many hours of sleep to recharge.

You got it Mama!:thumbsup2 Tyler is so fortunate to have you!

Well, I think I'm going to go work on my scrapbook some more, or maybe read, or play Monopoly. AND eat lots of Belly Flops! :goodvibes Will check back later before heading to sleep.

I R O N I N G .. what means this word? I R O N I N G?

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: ha ha ha ha ha :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Gretchen and I both like to iron....as a matter of fact, we were fighting over who got to do the ironing!!

How many kids do you know that you can take to the beach for the weekend and they would be perfectly happy to do laundry and iron. It was just so nice to be together and not have anyone else around....just the two of us!!

Oh yes, we are back in Washington now...had a quick (3 hour) and easy trip home.

On my way to Ronald Reagan Airport (National Downtown DC) to pick up a friend and his family coming in from vacation!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

To give him his due though, he wasn't originally booked for our cruise and only took over from Donny Osmond at the last minute.

Is this really true?? I am so naive, I believe most anything...but I never heard this??:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I used to bring these home from the JB factory in California... BEFORE they weighed your luggage :lmao:

Well, I'd be more than happy to send you some if you're unable to get them in New York. They're only $1 for a 5 oz bag! :thumbsup2

Well, I finished my scrapbook!

THANKS A MILLION, LINDA (seaulater)!!!! :worship:

And I cut out the large Ship of Thieves logo on the cover page of her instruction booklet and put that on the front cover of the scrapbook. :thumbsup2 Cute, cute, cute!

Now I just need to figure out what pictures to put on what page and then get those printed out and attached. :yay:

I hadn't seen the trailer. I can already see that it's not quite like the book, but I'm looking forward to seeing it.

The second book, Inkspell leaves the story hanging a bit. I can't wait for the third book which is coming out in the fall.

Well, if you spoke German you could read it now! :lmao:

We have sunk to a new form of puerile amusement.

We took a walk to the supermarket, and on the way home I used the word "kempt."

Sukie said that wasn't a word, at least not one that anyone used anymore.

We got into the house and I looked up the word kempt on http://www.thefreedictionary.com .

I discovered that you can click on an icon and have it pronounce the word for you.

This is where the puerile amusement comes in, as I kept looking up "questionable" words and having it pronounce them out loud. The hysterics ensued as we fell about the kitchen laughing like two 11 year old boys.

Although that is an insult to the maturity of 11 year old boys which is is probably greater than ours.

I've also been enjoying the USA/UK pronunciations.

Now that's a question.

I think, as far as I can remember, and subject to change at any time.

There are a couple of others on the thread too.

No B2B for me....the 9/12 is even in 'limbo' depending on the 2010 announcement and Peg's birthday plans.

Well, I bought a car. ::yes:: :car:
2008 Hyundai Tucson, platinum with grey interior. LOVE IT! :thumbsup2
Now she needs a name.

Did you PM Linda and tell her what you told us?

Wish I could see it when the photos are in and it's done! ::yes::
