I'm back - again.

Spent last Sun at WDW - will post picture when I get a chance to upload them. So now we have our AP's and are ready for meets!

Then was in DC from Mon until Thursday. Have spent the last 2 days trying to get most of the unpacking completed. The guest bedroom is completed and the kitchen is almost done. Plan to tackle the master bedroom tomorrow followed my by the scrapbook/office room. Oh and we have company arriving Thursday so that should help with the motiviation

DC was great -the weather was perfect. Only did a little sight seeing - Jefferson and FDR monuments. Had never been to the FDR monument before - loved how it was done.

I'm about 50 pages behind and not sure if I can catch up before they lock this thread. Tonight we're heaading out to PF Changs and to see the x-files movie since it seems to be disappearing quickly.

Hope everyone is doing well - and Belated happy birthday's to Michelle and Ian. (Did I miss anyone else's?)

We are cruising on the Thanksgiving Double Dip Cruise...I have read the thread on that cruise and I just don't feel much like joining in. We are cruising with a group of 60 friends from our church....maybe that is why...??:confused

I think all my friends have spoiled it for any other thread....I have loved this one so much!!

I just looked at the itinerary and it is only 7 days long...SO SHORT!! (of course I knew this when I booked....) it is 96 days away...got my notice today that final payment is due....

I swear I would go.....but it is the 2nd week of school.....maybe I could talk a few of my girlfriends into going.....or maybe my husband (that would be a very novel event in my household....my husband and I taking a vacation together??) (actually I think the reason we have stayed together so long is our separate vacations..... )

Come on Lisa, you can make it happen! It wouldn't be the same without you!


Well, my diving trip is kinda up in the air at the moment. Hopefully we'll still go. We're going to check the weather tomorrow and then decide.

I'm going to see Tropic Thunder in a couple of hours...this would be a good time to turn on the Olympics and do some cleaning

Thanks Jan......I refuse to waste any more time feeling bad. I've been there and done that......enough!

My uncle lives on Long Island. The whole extended family still lives there. Just me and mom moved away to PA. It takes between 2-3 hours to get to his house depending on traffic and route taken. I told him today that me and John will come and visit him again and go out for a meal together when he's feeling a little stronger.

Will you be closer to your Uncle and other family when you move to Bethany Beach?

Hoping today is going well Don't be surprised if memories of your Mom hit you some times harder than other times. Cry if you need to, be glad you had all those years with her and have a good day in her honor! That is what I try to do when missing my Dad happens to me.

Yes we slept well. Great sermon at church then home to watch the Cardinal's game and NASCAR race. Now we will use our "concrete path to a restaurant" for dinner.

(A friend thought that up when his realtor was stressing what a great kitchen his town house had and what a nice patio for a grill. He said they did not care, all they wanted was a concrete path to a restaurant. )

When I was flipping through the channels yesterday, during the women's marathon, an announcer made reference to one woman's age at the olympics in London next time. That's the first I'd heard of that too.

I think it must have been close to 90F today because it's still 84 right now. That's the first day over 80 in about a month I think. We got used to the 70s when you can tolerate doing outdoor stuff, but today it's really getting to us. I managed to get a half hour nap before Tyler woke up (he slept 2 1/2 hours!) and then we went to the library. Just walking the block to the library and back to our car made us both just want to hurry up and get home.

So we ate dinner while watching "Gilligan's Island", season 2! We've only watched a couple episodes so far and it's sure making Tyler giggle! I'm just tossing a post in here while Tyler gathers his dirty clothes from his room for the laundry I'm about to start.

We had 2 dogs, so the younger one is still with us. She is 9 years old so not that young. Casey was the dog love of our lives, hence she was the one we really focused most of our attention on. Jenny Rose, is a good dog, but just a dog. And Molly is the one that helps wash her, Wilson wouldn't spend his time that way

We had a fun time at church this morning. It is the Holiday Bible Club this week, and it began this morning. What a laugh. The theme is Ronnie's Rock n Roll Diner - all 50's style with the opening film copying Happy Days, but with the leaders. So well done. The church, which is a typical Anglican building(but a very informal Anglican 'church') was all decked out like a diner. We learned the theme song with actions, watched the first of their brilliant sketches and listened to a children's message etc. Going to be a brilliant week for the children I think.
