Give him a nice gift card to American Express (you can find these at stores and banks...) and then wrap up alot of little things like candy and such so he has lots to open... I do that with my nephew who is in college...
..

Thanks, that's a good idea too.
We also thought about a Target gift card, he buys a lot of his groceries there, because it's just around the corner.

Well I got through my first full day with Tom in the house and I did NOT smoke a cigarette. YEAH!!!!!

Thanks Jan.....one day at a time.....I had forgotten, thanks for the reminder. It works.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Hooray for you! a big pink hug!:grouphug:

Hi Deborah, I'm so glad you had a fun night out with the girls. It's nice to get together and laugh.

Enjoy your shopping trip today. What is the new sky plus??? I'm not familiar with the skyman. It must be a local term for something. Could you explain please.

Hey,I actually know what she means!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana:
The cable guy came over and installed an upgrade to their TV, so they get more stations than ever!!!!!!! ( this is what happens when you hang out with Brits, you actually start understanding them!!!!):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

V, looks like a fun place for dinner :thumbsup2 and enjoy the show :smokin: :rotfl2:

Today is Paul's bday, we are going to have dinner together at Buca d Bepo (sp) we have a ressie to sit in the kitchen, thought it would be fun :dance3: but dinner is at 8:30pm :scared1: that's ok on the cruise since we are 3+ hours ahead, but hard for us here since the kiddos will be starving...wish us luck:rolleyes1

Oh yeah, we got our small claims notice. Not bad, not good. We didn't have to refund the deposit to our deadbeat tenant, but he didn't have to pay for the rest of the damages either. Made me mad at first, but I'm over it now. Lesson learned send the letter upon tenant moving out with a huge estimate to CYA if necessary. Also, if we end up with a tenant that I don't like again, I'm not going to be nice and "let them stay" I'll just give them notice and be done with them when they start to make me concerned.

Morning. Quick hi. Having breakfast with Ann andAlbert then going shopping.:) :) :)
.

Hey! Since you are on the DISBOARDS and Ann and Albert are just having fun, please tell them for me that I am working on Sunday at the Beach Club and I expect ALL of you you to pop by and say "HI"!

Love Connie:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

OH< YEAH!!!!! but he has a lot of games. I thought about a WiiFIT.

This in MHO is a great idea. I love mine.
Thanks, that's a good idea too.

Another good idea. and as gift cards go, I don't think (or hope) that Target is going to file a BK soon.

I know but I'll be thinking of Monique laughing the entire time :sad2:

Hey, I think Monique thinks she going with you.:lmao: :lmao:

Pauls Bday dinner sounds fun too. Sitting in the kitchen, how cool would that be. Please share your thoughts and pics if you can.

Yeah and Boo on the small claims case. And like you say, lesson learned. Do you rent on a month to month? Sounds like the way to go.

Happy Birthday Paul. I love Buca de Bepo. Have lasagna, mixed green salad with prosciutto and gorgonzola and house bread ;)

Hi :flower3:

Love Gaylean

I need more info please. Did he just move in? I'm assuming he has all the essentials like a microwave, TV, DVD player, stereo or i pod dock, i pod, i tunes gift cards, and a pallet of Top Ramen :lmao: You may not want to buy him clothes but if you were thinking multiple gifts I would suggest socks and underwear since guys don't buy themselves that stuff :lmao: If you unwrapped them, they could probably fit in his stocking. I'm not sure if he is in to wine or martinis but my husband, who is 32, would love a nice decanter or martini shaker with some hip martini glasses. Some of our single guy friends like those papason chairs :confused3 I would like to help further but I just need to know more ;)

Thanks, and yes, he has most of the essentials....although, now here's a funny story....I went to visit him in October, and he was still using the plastic plates and silverware we sent him when he left in early August! He had one cup, his travel cup for his coffee. I took him to the thrift shop and made him buy 3 plates that matched, 4 mugs ( that didn't match) and some odd pieces of stainless steel eating utensils as well as some big spoons, and a couple spatulas to cook with. HONESTLY! I guess some things are more important to him than others......

I will call you ;) is around 3 am alright :rolleyes1 I may need a  but hopefully not.

If I'm not up I know that Monique will be and we will give  to you any time. even 3 am. But I bet that this years party will be a good one.

And dont do anything Monique wouldn't do

Yes, the first new plan in YEARS!

They did a lot of research looking at successful members and what worked and also talking to members who were not successful, trying to understand what didn't work.

Then over a year they did additional testing with test groups further modifying the new plan (I know, that one of my members was part of focus group set of meetings that went on for 2 months in Chicago. She was not allowed to tell me anything about it).

Out of that came the new Momentum Plan.

Let's face it. Weight loss is easy. You eat less than you burn. Then you keep doing it until you reach your goal.

Though that is easier said than done. What's needed is plan that doesn't leave you hungry or feeling deprived because feelings of deprivation leads to giving up.

The new plan combines practices and habits into one plan.

OH, GOODIE, I'LL BE GOING BACK TO WW my doctor suggested I try it. I've lost weight with WW about 20 years ago, and it does work, I think it's because you have somebody "watching over you".

Well he is a man after all.........

Well here I am blabbing away all by myself. No one to talk to. Just me and my radio. Ain't misbehavin'

No wait, that's a song, isn't it.

Hey! Ian, that's what I am doing today! I am talking and quoting everyone from yesterday since I have to catch up sometime!

I won't but no telling what Cindy will do ;)
