WELCOME BACK Marilyn and Monica.....we missed you both very much. How were your trips? Any pics? Stories? We would love for you to share.:goodvibes

I remembered....

I got some Wii games on sale at Toys R us yesterday:

mario kart
indiana jones lego
sim city (kid version)
scuba diving

I think I'm almost done with Xmas shopping. I need to get Paul a sweater and I think that's it. Short lists for the extended family this year, since we are travelling together, we are foing to do a gift card or something like that.

Oh yeah, one more thing, we are getting Molly an ipod. Trying to decide between the touch and the classic. She says she wants the touch, so she can check stuff online, but I'm not really sure that is what she will use it for internet, but more for video and songs. Anyone have any info on this????

Santa doesn't visit our house.

Now that sounds like fun! I can bring my own Aerobed, sheets and towels. (I'm a low-maintenance guest). I'll even bring an apron and a paring knife!

That's the room where you could serve the green bean casserole!:thumbsup2

Then we can all hop on the El and bring the Obamas a pumpkin pie.

Happy Birthday Deb!

Good Morning all Humanoids (and Nan),

It is cold here. Right now it's 26F though it supposed to go up to 35F. Later this week, Thursday, it's supposed to go as low as 20F. This is unusually cold for this time of year. It's usually in the 40's and doesn't drop like that until January. This does not portend well.

This is going to be another stressful week and I'm worried because I'm supposed to take 2 days off next week before the holiday. We have so much to get done this week.

Hi Lisa. Have you been reading about us trying to get a reunion together? Would you guys be interested?

I have been - our DL AP's are still good thru March 09 so Feb would be our choice of dates (plus Darrell can't take off anytime in Sept)

Hi everyone, Michelle coaxed me to drop in again and say hi as I have been very busy with the boys. I want to wish Deb a very happy birthday as we scorpio's need to stay together. The boys took me out for a nice dinner and a beer (of course, could not be a LBB without one) on the 16th for my b-day. We have signed up for the Northern European Capitals (NEC) trip on 12 Jun 10, so we hope to see everyone again. I know a lot of you folks are planning for the Trans-atlantic and it is an absolute fantasitic trip.

Hope to poke my head in every so often.

Hugs to all.

Steve, Joe, & Dan.

Hi Steve,
Happy belated birthday!!

A bunch of us are on the June 12th cruise too:thumbsup2

Hi Holly. You're up late ....or maybe you're gone now, IDK.
Nope, last night was an early night for me. I just checked and I posted that at 8:15pm. ;) I did go to bed early though, around 10pm. I've been just really worn out the last couple of days. Probably from the whole day of moving over the weekend and then cleaning all the next day and moving furniture around at my own house.

Hello

I am not happy today my computer got the virus.

I opened one email then opened youtube then suddenly full virus as all my friends texted me that they concerned that I send them email. I told them that I have not send any emails. They quickly deleted it straight away.

Grrrrr to Bebo (similar to Facebook) which had damaged my PC.

Deb, LOVE the necklace! :thumbsup2

Welcome home Monica, we missed you! Can't wait to hear about your adventures in Spain.

Welcome home Marilyn, how was the trip?

Steve, nice to see you!

Can't DIS too much this morning, it's carpool day, but at least it's not the day I drive, so I really only have to be ready 15 minutes early. I rather enjoy being picked up and driven home, but I always fret that I may need my car during the day. Only two more days of work then I'm off for the rest of the week...yeah!

Well, I got a phone call at 9am at work to go pick up Tyler. I had only been at work a 1/2 hour. :headache: Today he was only in the classroom about 5 minutes, when he kicked a student, so that caused the teacher to send him out of the room, so he decided to kick the door repeatedly and bang on the glass. The teacher locked the door so he couldn't get back in because the other kids were scared. He was banging so hard on the glass that she was afraid he'd shatter it, so she called the resource teacher to come get him and escort him to the office. He fought that and was swinging punches at that teacher, so he had to pick Tyler up and carry him to the office and Tyler was trying to bite the teacher's arms the whole way there. :headache: So, needless to say, they don't want him there today.

Yesterday was a pretty rough day too, and Friday was REALLY bad. I'm not sure why his dad told me Tyler had a good day both Thursday and Friday. He might have been relying on Tyler's word and didn't read the reports that came home in Tyler's backpack. Thursday was actually OK, he had about a 1/2 hour where he was able to stay in the classroom and do his work. Friday he was sent out of class two times, told the teacher he'd "rip your head off until you're dead", threated to beat up a couple students, shoved and kicked other students. Not a good day. :headache:

Since he doesn't do these things outside of school, I asked our office manager if I can just bring him into the office and set him up with some schoolwork so I can be there working on the piles on my desk. She said no.

OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

Nicely done John! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

A very happy birthday to you Deb (I guess it is a belated one now as it is well past 4:00am! ;)) Looks like I don't have to hope you have a good day as it seems to have started out quite nicely!

Sorry I dropped off there last night but it was Shaelyn's 7th birthday yesterday so we had cake and opened some presents. Then our electrician showed up to put some "energy" into our kitchen (I think there is an end in sight now) so I got busy.

But now it is off to work. I have major presentation to do this afternoon to one of our funders and have done absolutely zero to prepare for it yet. Guess that's what I'm doing this morning!!

See ya all on the flip side!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEB

Sorry that's all that's left ;)

But don't worry there's more

And G... Mammograms start around 40 unless you have a family history so you are ok for now... lucky you... ;)

That's a relief. For some reason I always think I will die of breast cancer and I'm not sure why because we've never had a case of it in my family.

it was crackers with chicken and brocolli, NOT JUST CRACKERS :scared1: I just didn't want to make any rice.

okay, now that is cleared up...sorry I dropped off the race of the web, I was infected with a virus so I've been working on cleaning it up all night. I think I'm clean, but I'll check again tomorrow.

one more post....

Chicken and broccoli would have been fine. My kids don't get many carbs when we are dieting. They get enough at school :scared1:
