Well... I guess I'm still a baby... I'm still getting those short tropical vacations!!!


That's one way of putting it. The worst part was getting them at work.....which I did at the time....and while I was talking to a coworker and they would notice and call me on it because all of a sudden my face was beat red and sweating. How very embarrassing when the coworker was a man!

Newsflash, the woman in the office today was verifying my info and it reminded me that it's been ten years since I had my last hot flash.

WOW did that make me feel old and used up. Then she asked if all my pertinent inside parts were still in there. Oh, that just makes me feel like a used car ready for the junkyard.





When I asked her why we had to take 9 pictures today instead of the 4 that I'm used to......her answer was "gravity." EEK!!!

Ya gotta have a sense of humor about these things, huh???

I went back to the last thread and read the last 30 pages or so last night. I guess I missed out on my chance to hit the big time with the rock group. Ah well...I would have looked pretty silly in a Pussycat Dolls outfit anyway!

As far as our reunion, it looked to me like 2 dates are being considered: Feb. 09 and/or Sept. 09 after the cruise(s), both at Disneyland. Is this right? I'm open to either or both, at least right now. If something firm gets decided and I'm on my trip, will someone (Jackie?) let me know?? please???

Michelle, I hope you're get to feeling better soon. It also sounded like someone (your father maybe?) was very ill. to you.

Phoenix set a new record high today--87º! They said it was only 74º here, but I was so hot I could hardly stand it. Enough already with the heat!

That's very exciting about the 3D movies on the ships. I hope I get to check it out on my cruise next month. If I do, I'll report back.

Kelly, what a drag about your computer crash! I'm not nearly as good about backing up as I should be. I am getting my photos done, however. I don't really have work-related stuff to worry about anymore, but my music & photos are precious to me.

We want to try to get everyone together sometime. I think we are pushing for Sept now. We thought it would be nice to do an anniversary party of some sort. Deb said she'll come and we are just trying to see if anyone else from out of town would want to come so we can set a date. I think it is hard for everyone financially so we wanted to make it far enough out so that everyone can save. I guess it wouldn't be much of an anniversary without Ian and Sukie.

So I'm typing this on my laptop while I'm burning backup DVDs of my photos on my desktop. I got all my trip photos done, but have several more to go.

If you just want to use it, I think you got that down - just link to the site I posted it on.

To make your own - you have to create an animated gif file using whatever creative software you prefer (I use Adobe Photoshop Elements) that can make animated gifs.

Truth be known, this one was a cheat, I just took the regular blue one and just coloured the hair on all the layers. Time consuming but pretty simple really.

It is so cute. I'm sure I'll never make my own but it is interesting. I don't even know where you guys get all the smilies that aren't on the side or under more. I want one drinking champagne instead of beer and it would be cute with the pink wig too, even though mine was green
