Got some weeds pulled today and stuff sprayed to keep them away. Been doing that little by little and it's much easier than pulling EVERYTHING every week now that they don't keep coming back after spraying them. :thumbsup2 But still have lots to do, and some trees to dig up because I didn't catch them when they were small enough to just pull. Plan on doing a little every day after work.

Have to figure out what's wrong with my mower. Changed the spark plug and it still doesn't work. Will spend some time Googling to see if I can figure it out.

Then this weekend I move to the inside and houseclean. Busy busy, will be ready for vacation!!! :goodvibes

must be weed killing day...

I just sprayed the back yard. I'm just hoping I don't wake up to a dead backyard. :rotfl2:

going to be very hot the next couple of days so my outdoors fun is limited to trying to keep the plants watered and alive.

Otherwise there is a whole list of stuff to be done inside... closets anyone??? :scared:

Well, if you do wake up to a dead backyard, at least that means you succeeded in killing the weeds! ;)

but my neighbor will be really p'd off at me cause I did her lawn too!! :lmao:

Well.. SHE'S the one who wanted me to spray for some weeds that were slowly creeping across her lawn... :rolleyes1... So I did... :confused3

WOW Shell, that's a really cool picture and you're right, I do love it. I'll be doing it in September. Can't wait. Thanks for posting it.

Holly, this week is better for the legs. Last week it was rough.....lots of pain and lots of vicodin and lots of sleeping it off. No pain today, so back to the exercise bike and puttering around the house trying to get it in order.

Father's Day was nice, but quiet around here. John got two swords to add to his collection of knives and swords....a pirates cutlass sword and a pirates short dress sword. He loved them both. We ended up not going out to dinner. We decided to stay in. So it was quiet, but nice. Sandi called and sent some cards. John is not thrilled with her these days. He says he lost his daughter a long time ago. The kid stayed for the opening of the gifts then we sent him home.

I have about seven and a half months before moving to Orlando. I have so much to do and don't know where to start. It's overwhelming. I know I have to just start with one small area at a time until it all gets done. I just don't know where to put things once they're packed. I have to work on this.

Tomorrow I'm paying for my Sept cruise and that will be in full so I can book Palo and excursions. I'm looking forward to cruising out of NYC. When I get off the boat I won't know when I'm getting back on again. That will be a first for me....and scary. EEK!!

The move has to come next. I probably won't do anything around the house until after the Sept cruise. Then I'll feel ready to get started.

get some fresh gas and get some carb cleaner. spray on and around the carb. let evaporate. try starting. you should be able to get carb cleaner at walmart target. or auto parts store if its in your normal travels.

Karl

Thanks Karl... I might have to start MY mower this week... the grass is growing like weeds!!!

which by the way.. I can reliably report that the back lawn is still GREEN!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Relax Deb... once you're IN Florida... there's those FL rates and you'll be back on the ship before you know it....

& about going through the house... take it one room at a time... do a little each day... pack boxes and really try to figure out what you WILL and won't need in FL... (like the chains for the tires.. you don't have to take those...)

Snow Karl... Snow...

if she brings the tire chains and it snows... everyone will blame her... :rolleyes1

Nice! Tyler's 2 friends who come home from school with us every day are on that right now with their parents. The kids don't really like Disney that much, but hopefully they're having a good time anyway! :thumbsup2

Glad it's a better week! :thumbsup2

I've always said you don't have to LOVE Disney to go on a Disney ship... we just happen to... :thumbsup2

I'll never get my sister and BIL on a Disney ship... they're allergic to mice!!! :rotfl:

Hi Holly!

How's the heat...

I'm not holding up in the heat this summer...

if I promise you a blizzard this winter... can you keep the heat in MI???
