Time for another busy week with Tyler and my "after school day care" with his 2 friends we bring home with us every day (so I probably won't be on here much). By the time they get picked up, I'm worn out trying to keep them all busy and happy. :lmao: Hoping to do a little cleaning every day this week, no more than an hour each day. Better than nothing, and not so much as to be overwhelming.

So if everybody likes Chuck and thinks that him and his wife are so nice.....should I let his family do the champagne girls??? There were four ladies total that he wanted to add. I only have 86 total and I can have up to 95. I don't know what to do. Suggestions?

Your call, Deb. Are there any DISers that asked after the cut off?

No. I just deleted the ones that I have not heard from and have not received any money from. That's how we went from 95 to 86.

I'll probably just leave it the way it is. They are not DISers and they don't know anything about the event. I should just Let it Be!!

I say let it be....too late.

I say let it be....too late.

Thanks. That's what I was leaning towards but I was still questioning it. I don't want to be rude to him and his family....but it is late in the game and they don't know anything about it. So it's ok to just let it be!

Thanks Monica and Angie, I needed to hear your thoughts to help me decide.

:moped: isn't he cute!!!

Deb must have used up all her allocation of colour!!!!!!

Jan, the idea is to try and build up the travelling once I can be bothered!!! Now, get me a definite booked vacation to the USA and I would soon be bothered.:lmao:

::yes:: I understand !

I'm definitely very grateful! :goodvibes Not sure how I got so lucky, but am certainly enjoying it!

You are trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.

No luck involved. You have earned this position.

I know that I'm not on your cruise so I really dont have a say. I know this person is a very nice man, (Jackie hooked us up with him for our first alaska cruise) but I think that since he is not a disboard participant, that you should leave them out. Your champagne Girls started as a DIS event and therefore should stay that way. It should be for those that participate on the DIS meet thread. That's why there are DISmeets, for DISers. JMHO

They are still working out the kinks from when they did the change over to the new servers.

Everyone is signing in today.

 everyone but me....

I can only get in with the I-phone on 3G. :(

How did I miss this? You are now doing day care? Are you an Energizer Bunny now?

Well said V. That clearly defines it and I agree. You are a Thief and a founding member of the champagne girls....bubba is too...haha....your opinion is always welcome.....and quite wise too!!! Thanks.

:confused3. What is the chance that moodiness -- especially feeling down and ready to cry -- is related to low blood volume from use of diuretics ?

I am on a blood pressure medication that also includes a diuretic. I walked to the PO and back -- a mile. That is normally no problem but I got lightheaded while I was out and it took effort to keep moving my feet. I am tired now and want to cry.

I don't see a big change in my blood pressure either--it fluctuates within a couple minutes from things like 145/83 to 126/70. I had numbers like that before.

I do have a call in to the doctor's office but wanted to know if any of you had ever experienced fatigue, lightheadedness or depression from a diuretic.

Thanks
Jan

Jan, DrHug says they may need to check your electrolytes, which can cause the lightheadedness, fatigue (he even went into A-fib from a bolus of diuretic in the hospital with no potassium replacement!). Make sure you are drinking LOTS of water. DrHug also said a beta blocker can cause depression.

Package from Chadwick's came today. Sundress fits! :yay: Capris fit.:dance3: I'm ready to pack! Next week..... This week I have to clear the suitcases out of the empty bedroom because my brother and his grandson (adult) are coming to spend a couple of days and visit with my mom. Then this weekend I can get them out again and pack them. :woohoo:

Since I am about done planning this trip, I thought we should get something else going. So, I booked a 2 bedroom at VGC for Oct 22-26. We can get very reasonable flights out of here to LAX....we can't go anyplace else except Phoenix and Las Vegas from here though. :( But, LAX is GOOD!! Our daughter and sil from OR will join us there. We will be celebrating 45 years of marriage:bride: at the place we met. We will upgrade our DL tickets to annual passes while we are there in May. :dance3: So $300 for airfare and food and we will have another DL trip this year. :worship:

When I spoke to the Nurse Practitioner she told me to stop the med. she said that beta-blockers can cause depression and fatigue and diuretics can cause electrolyte imbalance. That reminded me of the heat stroke I got on the WBPC cruise and I told her about it. She said it sounds like I am very sensitive to medications. She also said I should be seeing lower and more consistent blood pressure numbers.

So I will get a blood draw tomorrow to check electrolytes, go on the cruise with an eye toward increasing activity and decreasing carbs and when I get home we will reasses.

Thanks for letting me vent and for the info Dr Hug!!

(I must say that taking a diuretic to decrease blood volume and ease the job of the heart but then adding back potassium, magnesium and water seems counter-intuitive.)

brother kind of makes me nuts, but I love him and it will be good to see him for a couple of days. More than that and I would be :headache: All he wants to talk about for the last 3 or 4 years is his ability to predict earthquakes (not specific place or time, but general areas in a certain time frame :confused3) based on the lunar pull of the tectonic plates or some darn thing. Would really love to have a different conversation with him this time. We will see of we are able to redirect the conversations.:rotfl2:

Thinking about that......wonder if we drive brother crazy talking Disney!!! :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Probably.:rolleyes1

I bet you have space in your conversations for others to share their experiences and/or change the subject to something else--even the impact of the lunar orbit on plate tectonics :rotfl: :rotfl2:
