;) Well, Actually :confused3 it was on the computer that it looked so WRONG! I did not notice the phone looking particularly odd but I expect the format to be different there.

On the computer I want it to be the SAME !!

:upsidedow Did I ever tell you that I am highly resistent to change ? :upsidedow

 Sometimes having a head cold has its perks I guess as I am home and slowed down enough to actually read DIS threads on the computer instead of on the phone.

and  if it ever happens again--I know what to do!

:cool1:

:happytv:This is what may have happened. when you log in on your fone the setting for the DIS may change to your fone app. and stick. so it is just a case of having to go to setting when you get back on your Puter.:surfweb:

spoke to the scheduling person this morning at the scanning place....she was able to tell me that they want additional scans & an ultrasound of my left breast (again, sorry gentlemen for TMI). Right now appointment is set for 3/20, but I'm to call to see if there are any cancellations ahead of that.

I called my sister today to tell her this....
next week's schedule:
Monday-psychiatrist to do a med check
Wednesday-gyn to talk about hysterectomy & now breast
following week's schedule:
Tuesday-these new tests
Thursday-parents arrive

She got a good laugh :lmao: I'm stressing!!

I've been chatting all morning with Denise/disneygal0614 and a vendor on www.etsy.com named Cheryl. Between Denise, Cheryl and me guess what!!!!????!!!!

We're doing MICKEY'S CHAMPAGNE GIRLS earrings. They are SO adorable!!!!! We all have to get them, they're like $10-12. I have nearly 100 girls that are attending the Hawaii tasting and they will all want them. Cheryl is going to be a busy lady. Denise came up with the idea. It's brilliant!!!

They're going to have one pink crystal bead on top, then a pink champagne bottle saying Mickey's Champagne Girls with a mickey head on it in black, then two pink beads at the bottom. I can't wait to see them when they're finished. I figured I would have to get a pair for Angel too.

This is so cool! I've always wanted some kind of official jewelry for us. I've looked at hokey donuts' stuff and it's really cute. Will you let us know when they're ready?

the things I do thanks to my obsession for DCL :lmao:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hi Deb! Good luck with the appointment. I dread paperwork and phone calls related to stuff like that. Just got off the phone with Kaiser Health Insurance. They are trying to double bill me for a couple of things. I really believe that they do it on purpose thinking that you won't notice, especially when you have so many medical bills. So annoying.:headache:

Hi Angie!

Hi Donna! When my mom was alive, I did all her bills, etc. for her and remember well going over stuff like that with a fine tooth comb. It's exhausting!

Hope everyone is feeling better. Peg has been sick with a cold for the last two days....hoping I don't get it as Dianne will be here Friday nightand I don't want to spend any of my vacation with a stuffy head!

After that...four more weeks of work then I'm DONE! (...actually, still waiting for that to be official, they might kick me out after two!).

.

I've had a stuffy nose since the middle of January. Went to the doctor again yesterday and now trying different nose spray and more antibiotics. Not being able to breathe is a drag. Hope Peg feels better!

:grouphug: I have had two breast lumps removed so if anyone needs info or reassurance, let me know. Local anesthetic both times. The second time I drove myself to the surgical center and drove myself home. :drive:

Monica, I did too, over 20 years ago. I was wigged out over it, but it wasn't bad at all. The worry beforehand was the worst part.

Karl

Yes, Karl, that makes sense. And now that I know how to fix it, I will be able to work with a familiar format whereever I am.

THANKS!

Wonder if I got my head cold from Jackie or Cheri

Donna--keeping track of the billing is a full-time job. Harry is blessed to have you willing and able. I keep reminding myself that a lot of the billing is processed by computers and since I get some e-mails twice, I may well get some bills twice. Some computer somewhere hiccupped. But it is a pain!

Monica--Cheri is right, the "not knowing" is the worst part. By my second lump removal I was so mellow I did not even tell Tom when it was going to be. The first time I made him take the DAY off work even though we were home before noon and I felt fine.
I have had other times where a second mammogram was needed and they said, OK, :thumbsup2 we got a better picture and it all looks fine. So, you may just be having another visit with a tech.

Monica :grouphug: I agree with everyone, the not knowing and waiting is the worst! I have also been through this a few times. No lumps and all was well, but it was stressful waiting and wondering. I'd rather be double checked though if the techs are concerned there may be a problem. Good luck...I hope they can give you the "all clear" before your family cruise so you won't have that worry

Jan and Jackie...:grouphug: Hope you both feel better soon.

:grouphug: to all in need.

Hi Kathe!:yay::yay:

Sorry I'm missing out on stuff... head is still foggy...

Monica... I told mom that next time she has to have anything done, we're going for a brow lift and some liposuction... so if you want to add to it...

Go... have it checked... I had the ultrasound... most are just cysts...:hug::hug:

I was going to quote Kathy, thank her for her get well wishes and tell her you were sick and then poof, you did it already.

So, THANKS KATHY !!

Mine were not cysts they were knots. I think that is what confuses them. They see a lot of cysts and get used to what that is and then someone like me comes along with knots in the fibrous netting that holds everything together and they wonder. I figure it is a lot like a 3-D fish net with fibers going every which way and all knotted together. As we get older and stresses of activity are coped with , some of those knots get reinforced and/or are a good collection point for other stuff. That shows up whiter on the mammo than the normal filler and so they worry.

Better they worry and do a recheck than be blase' and ignore what is a real problem. ::yes::

My mammo tech just had a baby and the next FB message I send will be asking her when we can get together so I can give her the afghan I knitted with Mickey heads in it. She won't know until she opens it but the lacy-ness makes Mickey heads. She was in the college program and wants to go back. Plan was they would move when their son was about 9 and now that he is, they have a new baby. I am not sure why they did not want to move when he was littlier though. I do not think relatives live here, but maybe they do.

All this to say--mammo techs are "friends not food" (i mean enemies) :fish:

Hi all!

Monica, it sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now. Hope everything turns out fine for you. I didn't even realize that the Fantasy was coming in today. Nice that you got to see her. :goodvibes

Jan, hope you feel better soon.

Michelle, hope you are feeling better, too.

:grouphug: and pixiedust: to everyone in need!

Donna

Thanks Donna! Hoping you are doing well.

Jan...

I have your cold....

And I'm glad Angie answered your question... cause my head is exploding too today...

I'd like to Saint the person who came up with lotion in tissues!!! :littleangel::littleangel:

& I'd like to kick the person who made generic nyquil so hard to open!!! :furious:

Mon.. great pics... I tried to stay up to watch the webcam.. but the nyquil did kick in...

Hi Deb an Donna!!! :flower3:

I'm with you on the lotion in the tissues nomination! What a great idea. I had to use McDonald's napkins when we were in the car after church and was my nose ever uncomfortable by the time we got home.

Usually we have a box of those tissues tucked away in the linen closet just in case... but someone must have used them and not replaced them... (the QM...:rolleyes1) She was very nice about running out to get some more and also some grapefruit juice (for some reason I can't drink orange, but I can grapefruit juice...) and the nyquil/dayquil combo package...

I bought her a very nice smelly hyacinth this week at the store (I've been getting something each time we go - I'm in the mood for spring...) Last time it was mini daffodils... My cold is sooo bad... I can't smell the hyacinth!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

That IS bad when you cannot smell a hyacinth.

You obviously did not get your cold from me. I can smell. But I have a lot of need for Tissues and get those coughing fits that do not end. No sore throat bur sore ribs when I cough. Cough drops and cough medicine do not stop the coughing

Yuck

If you have a fever you could have walking pneumonia. In which case you need to see a doctor and get a prescribed cough medicine with codine to make you stop coughing. One time I popped a rib I was coughing so badly.....and we were due to start a cruise. I went but I was sick for the beginning of the cruise. I just stayed in my stateroom until I felt better.

Yeah.. what she said... :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

I'll sing to you when I'm feeling better...

 thanks for the birth season wishes :)

No fever all week, but thanks for caring enough to tell me what walking pneumonia is. I did not wake up coughing last night. I think I have turned the corner and am now in control of the coughing instead of at it's mercy.

Glad I canceled my clients this week. No therapy, therapist is home sick.

That may be the first time I ever used the smilie for sick in my DIS career.

Hoping Peggy, Cheri and Michelle soon feel better and Monica is not anxious about all her events :grouphug:

Hi Michelle :yay: Sorry, didn't realize you were sick too :grouphug:

Guess I need to send get wells to Peggy and Cheri as well :grouphug:

Hope everyone feels better quickly!

Jan, Happy Birth Season :cheer2:

I had Serenity for a sleep over last night and didn't take her back home until after dinner and after her bath tonight. She went home in her PJ's :cutie: I'm exhausted but happy. It was a rainy day here so we spent the afternoon making a tent "library" in my living room. We took lots of books, flashlights and snacks into our "tent" :upsidedow Good thing I'm going to work tomorrow...I need a rest;)

I AM SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my notice today from SSA. They didn't deny my claim. I will continue to get my benefits without having to go to court. I can't believe it. Since they made me see their doctor when I first opened this claim and then they denied me anyway, I really thought they were going to do the same thing again. I'm so happy I don't have to go to court again. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have decided that I am running away to the beach tomorrow. I hope it'll be a nice day. Doesn't have to be all that sunny, just hoping for no rain. (there would only be 1 reason that I would change my mind, but since I'm 99% sure he won't be coming down to see me, I don't think I'll need to worry about that).

Thinking of going to Jetty Park - heard the facilities there are decent, plus if I'm still there at 5pm I can see the Magic sail away.

Going to attempt to make chocolate covered strawberries tonight (with out either burning myself or making too much of a mess) :rotfl: Planning to get either a sub or some fried chicken/chicken tenders from Publix to go along with the berries. I'll also fill up my cooler with ice & put in a few jugs/bottles of water to drink. That, plus my kindle, chair, towel, supersized towel & mp3 player & I'm good to go.
