Well I'm back. It wasn't painful, but I don't think it went well. I forgot to tell him about the cellulitis. He looked at only half the meds that I take. He focused on the weight, the sinus and he called them ulcers on the legs. He didn't even look at the legs. I tried to tell him about the pain from the inflation with a high sed rate, he disregarded it. I tried to tell him about my catching illnesses from others easily because of my auto immune disease, he disregarded it. He said, but you can sit and you can walk up and down stairs. You can move your hands and your feet. Good. He took my blood pressure and listened to my breathing in 2 places on my back. That's hardly an exam. When I cracked a joke, he didn't laugh, he didn't break his professional seriousness. I have a feeling that I'm going to get denied and have to fight to keep my benefits.

Never fear.. I've already got 1/2 the letter to the powers that be going in my head...

That's the way those Drs. work... Sad thing is a lot of Drs. make their living off of doing nothing but these appts.

I have my jeep rental for Maui afternoon booked. Cheri said she will join us so far. Jackie is checking her plans with Pam.

I booked my car service to and from the airport at home.

I booked a convertible for one day in LA after cruise. I think we're driving down to San Diego.

The only thing I have left to do is book car service in Cali going from the airport to the hotel and from the boat to the airport after cruise.

Then I really just need to pack. Oh, and put the hair clips on the flowers for the Champagne Girls. I'm still waiting for them to arrive. And do the CG paperwork. I'm getting everything else finished first. Then I can focus on the CG.

Almost forgot, I still need to book the helicopter ride on the big island. I have to call them first tomorrow and ask a question, then I can book it.

Close to finished at least. My passport renewal paperwork has been mailed, so that's a relief.

The only other thing going on at home is an appointment with mom's lawyer on the 27th. We have to talk about the status of Ray's bank accounts and his bills and his insurance. Ray had no Will, but mom did. I'll never understand that. One would think that they would both have done their Wills together.

I'm worried about Casey today. Brittany just chatted with me and told me that the Army denied Casey because of a skin rash that he has. Then Brittany broke up with him. He's feeling like he has no chance to go to college now since he's out of his mother's house and working two jobs to live in a room in a house. He has no money and no time. He's stuck in a rut and in a very dark place. He won't even talk to me right now. I had one of Jane's friends contact her to let her know and I called my brother to let him know. At the very least, he needs some love and support right now.

I need to go to the library, deal with my lawn, , some more rearranging of crap in my house, and MAYBE pressure wash my patio. Weather is not supposed to be wonderful, but I'll make do

Is anyone besides me annoyed at the new blue and white pages that come up when you sign in? I used to get the colorful pages and could find my subscriptions, now I get a stupid light blue and white page and I have to sign into DCL threads to get the colorful pages to get my subscription list. I usually read the threads on my i-phone so when I am on the computer with DIS it takes extra steps. Any suggestions?

Monica--on page one--I think Krisann had to cancel due to her husband's new job. Or did they get that worked out?

Jan... I never have to sign in every day. Up at the top where it says to sign in (upper right side...) I sign in at that box and then click the box where it says to stay logged in. Then I always check in from one of my email notifications - or you can just open the disboards main page and then go to your CP from there.
