You know what....it does say Internal Medicine. What does that mean. I see a Rheumatologist and a wound care specialist. I have not idea what part of my illness is internal medicine.

I'm not driving. The kid is taking off and driving me. John can't afford the time off.

So just bring the vicodin with me for after......hahaha. I have to eat before I can take it so I have to wait until I get home.

Internist is just a regular Dr.

If he gives you any problems.. we appeal and tell them that we want a specialist that can give you an accurate diagnosis.

I had to do that. they sent me to a Dr. that wasn't a surgeon to determine if I needed surgery... I appealed... and won.

they expect that some will not fight it.

Most of these drs are there to turn you down no matter what... that's what they get paid for.. that's why it's so stressful.

I think Deb will be ok.. her leg has been bad enough for a long time and like I said.. if they give her problems... we're gonna fight it. I can write another letter to the powers that be and get it going.

That's what happens Jan, they say no automatically even if you really need the help. They do it just so you will give up being too sick to pursue it. They did that to me when they first approved me. I got denied and had to go before a judge. He approved me when his doctor said I qualified for six different reasons.

That does make sense. I just dread the pain.

I also paid money for my entire working career. I started working at 16 full time and consistently worked right until I became disabled in 2001 and didn't get it properly diagnosed until 2003. So I feel like I paid my dues and if I really need the help, then it should be available to me.

I just wish they didn't look at everyone as people trying to con them. They make it very hard on people who really need the help.

Your money was not held in an account for you, it was used for people back then. We can debate whether it was spent wisely. But scam artists figured out how to take advantage so now that you need it, there is less to go around.

If you went in on a good day they might find you ineligeable. If you don't find the exam to be hard they will wonder why they should approve your status.

There are people who fake their reactions so well during the exam that they get approved and John's tax money supports them.

If everyone was honest and lived the Golden Rule none of this hassle would be necessary.
But
Unfortunately there are a lot of selfish people and the result is skepticism and distrust so people who hurt--like you two--are lumped with the scam artist and have to prove your need.

Answer questions honestly and know that ALL they are doing is trying to weed out the scam artists who know how to play their role well as this is their livelihood--faking illness so they can get money.

Finally got rooms assigned for the family cruise!

Mom, Dad & I got upgraded from a 6A to a 5C - 7030
Lisa and crew got upgraded from 11A to 9B - 2536

This is my 1st ever DCL upgrade!!!
