Well, I can jump in again now !

:grouphug: to all who need it !

:cheer2: for those making great strides ! :cool1:

I keep track of Facebook and DIS threads on the I-phone as I can make a bookmark for the page and start there and can read when I have time between clients or in bed before falling asleep.

But
The I-phone was not opening Facebook for the last couple days so I spent the morning on the phone with a techie getting it upgraded so as not to lose Sophie pictures :cutie:

I have a bigger caseload than I have had in a while so that saps my energy and takes time away from fun.

We also are having Anderson replacement windows installed. The crew needs 4 feet of space in front of the windows in which to work. Our condo is small--so it is like a 3-D puzzle to move stuff out of the way in each room but still provide access to all the windows.

We have sorted a lot and taken things to Salvation Army, recycling and garbage. :faint:

So,
the I-phone is fixed--except it types slower :sad2:
And Tom needed the car today

And
There is nothing more I can do with the sorting until he is home

Which means
I can read DIS thread
Work on his new sweater for our Alaska cruise
Do my nails
Run a load of wash
And play with my pet on SuperPoke Pets

::yes::

:scared1::scared1: Make sure you back up and save all those Sophie Pics!!! I bet she's getting big now... Any pics to share?

I wish I was doing Alaska this year. the pics coming back are really beautiful... maybe next year.

My brother thinks he's coming up on Sunday to pressure wash our house and paint things on the second floor... I'm fine with the washing, but I really don't want to see him hanging off the gutters (If I had gutters...)

So what pattern are you using for the sweater?

Mom called... they are on their way home. Decided NOT to stay on the cape for the Kennedy wedding tonight... :snooty::snooty::snooty: She will be coming home here tomorrow... yeah.. I've missed her... had plans to do alot more while she was gone, but the gods of sinus infections had better ideas... :confused3

It will be nice to have her home. Get the first real meal in me for a while. She always makes me Chicken Friccasee when I'm not feeling good... :goodvibes

Lyrica update....

Seems it was the Lyrica that was giving me so many problems pain wise and also with several other really bad side effects. I'm off of it now - PLEASE if I ever decide to try it again... knock me silly!!!

One of the biggest side effects was the weight gain... and since I've been off of it... I've lost almost 7 lbs!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I read on the web about all the side effects people were getting and it just really :scared1::scared1: me alot.

I still have to find another way of dealing with the TOS (the nerve damage) but I think i'm going to try some holistic ways like accupuncture and massage.

Also... I asked Dennis and he gave me suggestions as to which vitamins to add to my diet and how to take them (the B complex is liquid under the tongue) along with Vit D and Magnesium... and it seems to have helped the muscle cramping a lot!!! :woohoo::woohoo:

Sweater? In the summer? :confused3

Thanks Deb. By the time I posted it, he actually had fallen asleep. I think it's just that this was normal kid behavior and I'm not used to that. ;) I can handle the extreme stuff because it's what I've grown used to, but he's never been one to be bratty or tell me "no" like kids occasionally do, so I have no experience with it. Besides, I really believe it stemmed from anxiety over the psych appointment he knew was coming this morning because he knows whenever they take him off the one med, the things it suppresses come out and he gets in trouble every day, and that's certainly no fun, so he of course would be dreading that. He got up this morning, apologized, put his room partway back together and started doing math work without even being asked (I bought him a 3rd grade math workbook to practice over the summer so he hopefully won't forget everything, on request of his teacher so she doesn't have to re-teach him everything). :thumbsup2 And doctor appt. resulted in keeping meds the same for now, since things are going so well for him, I think he wants the rest of the summer to build his confidence up, and we'll reduce meds after he's been back in school for a month. He even did great with the 2 weeks at camp and last week did summer care at a totally new place (a local nature center) with new people, including one overnight and had NO issues. :cool1:

Anyway, all is stable for now. :goodvibes

Stable is good. :goodvibes

You're such a great mom, you're always on top of things....knowing what it is and how to handle it with child rearing. You do such a great job!!!

Emma had an interview with J Crew yesterday... just retail, but it would be something to get her working for the time being... nothing else on the job front permanantly... keeping all fingers crossed.

GO EMMA GO!!!! J Crew is nothing to sneeze at. Good for Emma! Wishing her all the luck and positive vibes she needs to get hired.

Oh, when we were shoe shopping for Tyler, he saw the cutest little pink Nikes and asked if he could get them for his sister for her birthday. They were too cute to resist! :thumbsup2 TYLER has never even had Nikes, LOL! He wanted the pink ones for himself SOOOOOOO badly, and I told him he can have whatever shoes he wants, but he's too afraid of how badly he'd get picked on. Kids are so mean and he's just not brave enough yet to handle that. His dad would have a fit too, and I suspect Tyler knows that. :headache: So when we saw the same shoes in miniature, I think he just wanted to be able to live vicariously through his sister. ;)

ADORABLE.....Tyler is one of the most caring and thoughtful kids that I have ever known. That's so very sweet of him.

What Kennedy wedding? Another one? I'm not aware.

So glad that mom will be home soon.

Hope you're feeling better now.

It's good news that you found out and got off of it. I'm glad you're feeling a little better. Holistic ways of healing sound way better.

Patrick, Teddy's youngest. He married a nice school teacher from Jersey.

Meds kicking in - hoping to be better daily.

Today I had a great day.....Tom went to a swimming hole with his friend Zack and I want to the town pool. It was a gorgeous day. I exercised in the pool. I found out that they have water areobics four days a week. I'm signing up and giving it a try. I'm looking forward to it. It starts on Monday July 25th.

Hi thieves!!

Good to see everybody still posting. Hope you are all doing well. When are we having a reunion cruise? How about 12/15/2012 on the Fantasy.

Sounds good to me since I'm already booked on that one!

I've been busy with work, as a matter of fact going in today to get caught up on 8 months of filing! :scared1: Three of us are coming in to work on that project!
