Glad you had fun!

Safe travels!!! Be careful driving!

I can't stand the thought of more driving. BUT, at least it's not 3 1/2 hours each way like it is to Cedar Point. Only 1 1/2 each way. The problem is I'm barely able to keep my eyes open already. Looks like tons of caffeine on my way. That will keep me going. :thumbsup2

Make sure you stop and rest if you have to along the way...

Stop where there are trucks - they do their resting in numbers... that way someone is around with you...

Finally home, long day, but lots of fun! :thumbsup2 Everybody was confused at first when Tyler wasn't with me, so I had to explain that since it's Father's Day, he's with his dad. Lots of good food and fun. NOW I can finally get some rest. Going to bed shortly. :thumbsup2

I can hear birds chirping...

and I've already tried twice to get to sleep...

I think it's time I try again...

MONICA, that's great news about your car! In fact, I specifically got on here to check just to see if you ended up getting the car! YAY!!!!! What a relief! :)

Thanks Holly - I will try to post pics later, but since Dad's here until Wednesday am only, I may not do anything at work.

I can text pics to people if they can't wait :rotfl:

Sounds like you had a good but busy weekend, Holly.

Did you get to rest last night?

Yes, I got home around 9:30 last night, got to bed about 11, so I feel pretty rested. I have absolutely no plans tonight and tomorrow night, so I can get lots of sleep. Tyler will be worn out though because he was just as tired as me from Cedar Point, and left for camp yesterday. They keep those kids super busy there! :thumbsup2 When I called today to arrange a visit after the first week, the person I spoke with told me he and his cabin mates have been laughing nonstop so far, LOL! :thumbsup2

That's WONDERFUL!!!! :cool1:  :yay: :dance3: :woohoo: :cheer2:

Is he doing the 2 week camp or is it just the 1 week?

This is the same camp he went to last year, right?

He's doing 2 weeks because he did 1 week last year and did well. It's his 3rd year (the first year he just did a 3-day mini-camp for first timers). He was so excited about it all weekend, knowing his dad would be picking him up Sunday to drop him off there. He told me he was just worried about one thing. He says he has no problem with being away from his dad for 2 weeks because he will see his pictures all over camp, and last 2 times even stayed in the same cabin as his dad (his dad's name is still carved under one of the bunks, LOL!), so he feels like he'll sort of see him the whole time, but was worried about being away from me for 2 weeks. I reminded him that I'd already worked it out to visit in between the first and 2nd week and he was relieved and excited at the idea of getting to show me all around. :thumbsup2 The person I spoke with today suggested I show up at 10am Saturday (because parents picking kids up should be gone by then) and I can sign him out for lunch, and spend the afternoon with him, as much time as I want. They said kids doing 2 weeks often have this arrangement, especially the younger ones, so they don't get homesick when they see parents picking up other kids. He can also receive mail, so he's asked me to write every day and send him pictures of me and all the pets. :thumbsup2

Oh, I'm so relieved you know have a car! I was really worring about you (kept having all those strange dreams).

Enjoy the rest of you visit with your Dad!

Holly, the first time I went to camp (age 8) it was for a week and the parents were allowed to visit for an afternoon mid-week. I'd been having a good time, but the night before the visit I decided I just might go home with them. Then when they got there I was so excited to show them all the stuff (AND demonstrate that I had learned to swim in deep water AND hit the bullseye with a bow and arrow) that I gladly just waved them away and said "see ya later". :)

I'm taking the day off tomorrow since I have a Dr appointment in the afternoon that would have made me lose a 1/2 day at work anyway. So I'll jump up and go do the grocery shopping before it gets hot. We're definately in the 100's now for the next four months! :scared1:

As soon as I know if/when my brother might be visiting I'll be taking a look at my remaining vacation days. I think a 'staycation' at home is a good idea, I need to get some stuff done around here and I'm just not getting much done on the weekend, especially as I need a whole day on the weekend just to recover from work!

 for everyone!

.

Talked to my sister tonight.

She said she saw he Wonder in port in Vancouver the day before they sailed... said she could see the Mickey ears on the funnels. I'm sure that's the closest she will ever get to a DCL ship ever!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

She also said that she didn't see too much of the wildlife as you all did. I don't know if it was because of the smaller ship and they went different places... don't know.

Hi!!

Dad's taking the car to Seminole today.....it's funny, he's driven the car more than I have :lmao: The car spent it's first night in the garage last night. I need to do a little more rearranging to have more space around the car.

We had a good night "in" last night. We watched "Three Caballeros" while transferring it from VHS to DVD. I cooked some veggie pasta (which turned out to be really good) & drank some wine (yummy).

We've probably had the best visit in a looooooooong time.....kind of sad, but yet kind of happy that he's off tomorrow to my sister's.

How is everyone else doing??

Morning!

Awake for a while... not long... on meds today...

FINALLY figured out why I've been in so much pain...

Deb... your Dr. was right about the Lyrica...

Something told me to get up and look up lyrica and leg cramps last night and BINGO!!!!

Then I found another website called Ask a Patient... Its a website that asks people to post the effects of meds they are on. For some it's a wonder drug... but for a LOT of people... it is hell.. and that seems to be me...

I finally kept writing down symptoms I have - everything from weight gain to the joint pains to the memory losses and the foggy exhaustion that I have. the Anxiety and the depression...

I'm going to back myself off of the Lyrica and see if it helps. I'll call the Dr. and have her give me some of the lyrica in smaller doses and I should be off of it in about a week. They said online to withdraw slowly otherwise you can suffer from seizures... not in the mood for those... :sad2:

So... I'm enjoying a bagel with cream cheese and some apple juice and I'm probably going back to sleep for a bit...

Check in later!!!

Hey Monica!!!

We need to get you some pink fuzzy mickey dice for your car... I have some hanging over my desk... :goodvibes:goodvibes

Been gardening this afternoon, :yay: yardwork:rotfl::rotfl:, but now it's time for some tea and choc cake
