Holly... will you PLEASE stop sending us your weather!!!!! :cold::cold::cold:

Yesterday it was 91 degrees.. today it's 58... :scared:

I had to put a sweatshirt on... but I REFUSED to give up my shorts!!! :thumbsup2

Nope--if we had time and money for a 7 day we would do a 7 day. Nassau is no draw but we do like the ports on the Eastern and Western. And while the bells and whistles of the DREAM are fun, we prefer the smaller ships. The MAGIC is our first love. Our first cruise ever was on her in 1999 and we have put in more time on her too.

The only reason I might consider a B2B on the DREAM is 2 days at Castaway Cay

Even without having been on the Dream, I have a feeling I'd feel the same. :thumbsup2

could use some :hug:today.

When we got back from the cruise we found out our cat Sweetie had end-stage kidney disease. We had to make the decision to have her put to sleep today as she is rapidly going down hill with no quality of life.

She has stopped eating and is having trouble walking too. :sad1:

She is only 10 years old so we thought we would be together a lot longer. But I guess they never stay as long as we want do they...

Aw Lisa, I'm so sorry. :sad2:

That didn't come from here! Yesterday I think it was 70, overnight it was 49, we left the windows open all night and all day today, will just leave them open for days and days because there's no rain in sight, and though it will get close to 90 Saturday (we'll probably have to have the air on that afternoon, Sunday and Monday aren't supposed to be over 80. 70 today. PERFECT WEATHER!!!!!! :dance3:

Have to go to Scouts tonight. Uggghhh.......I'd SOOOOO rather not, because we won't be home until 8, I'll still have to mow tonight after that and spray the bug spray because tomorrow we need to finish cleaning and go buy last minute items, drinks, table cloths, garbage bags, helium tank for balloons, ice cream to go with the cake, and more goody bag supplies because more kids are now coming. 14 kids are definitely coming, and there are 9 I haven't heard from either way, so I might still hear from some tomorrow. Then Saturday morning we pick up the cake and then come home to decorate and wait for the fun to start! Oh.....I have to find time to fill 200 water balloons. I guess Friday night, since I don't want to do it all Saturday morning, since I have NO idea how long that will take, LOL!!!!

I was wondering about other places rather than just cruises. Lots of great places.

Aaaw, so sorry Lisa. These pets become such a part of the family don't they and it is so hard when they have to leave us. You will have a big hole in your lives.

:hug::hug:I know they are only virtual, but being sent with love:hug::hug::hug: I know exactly how you are feeling.:hug::hug:

Sending lots of love your way...:hug::hug:

Aw Lisa, I'm so sorry. :sad2:

Thank everyone! Virtual hugs help a lot

OH NO.....my heart goes out to you and Darrell. That's just so sad and so hard. Take some comfort in knowing that Sweetie had a good life with you and was very happy. She will always be loved in your hearts. BIG HUGS!!!!:cloud9::hug::hug::hug:

OH ok.....um, yea. We would love to do the Greek Islands and Scotland and Africa and Egypt....etc.....but we would like to be able to afford Adventures by Disney to do them with.....hahaha. But that would have to come AFTER cruising with Disney. We love being on the open ocean.

:rotfl2::rotfl2: I was thinking in the US!!! You have such amazing places over there, we love visiting. I just wondered if John was wanting to see more of those for a change, but from what you said the answer is no!!!! Mind you, living there he has probably seen lots of places. You are so lucky having that massive continent to explore.

I get to see Angie & Dennis tonight!!! They're at the MK all day - I'll head over there after work to meet up with them. :cool1:

They can always come back upstate... especially when you are visiting Marilyn!!!

Well we have lots of places we want to see on the East side of the US so who knows? Goodness, you could spend so long just there. I remember 2 years ago we were going to drive from Florida to NY to cruise home from there, and trying to fit everything in we wanted to in see the 3 weeks of time allowed was hopeless.

Works for me... Maybe we could get you and John to do an RV tour with Angie and Dennis... we could track you with GPS...

Today is Flower day... (and some tomato and herbs day too...) We are venturing out to the nursery today to get some nice looking things for the deck and the front of the house. I will get my herbs because I use them during the summer and hey.. I just like to grow things. Will have to see what crazy vegetable I will grow this year. Last year it was a cute little habanero plant that died... oh well... :confused3

Oh that is so very funny.....hahaha......I think just the opposite. I think having Europe locally accessable is the best of all. Being able to go from country to country with all the different cultures, foods, history, arts.....just can't be beat. History here only dates back 200 years and it all starts out pretty much the same way. The food varies some from East, West, South, North....but not by that much. We have the same language and we share the same currency. Each of the states are known for different things and that's nice and all the different land and locations are nice, but Europe has that too.

I guess the grass really IS greener on the other side.

Give them big hugs from me and John. I can't wait to be you in 2013.....it sounds quicker than saying two more years. hahaha. Have fun!

OK now I get it....yes, we have done from Maine (near the Canadian border) down to Key West on the East coast....and just about every beach town in between. There are many beautiful spots. We have already traveled South across the US....separately when we were each single. I haven't been too far North across the states because it's cold up there. I have been across the middle of the US twice by car. John has also. We both did it while we were young and didn't know each other yet. Just recently, John and I together have been exploring California and loving it. So together we have pretty much covered the US.

How much of Europe have you and John done?
