& they are friends from high school too... The one from this morning is one of my brother's best friend's sister. Right after my dad walked out... the Poulins invited us to their Xmas eve after mass party... (they didn't want us to be alone on the holiday... ) They always threw a great party...

I just want to keep cruising up and down the Inside Passage....SO beautiful!

Me too.....Jackie. That was the best!!! Just wish it had been a little warmer so I could sit outside on the verandah. But even sitting on the inside and looking out was so beautiful. We had everything wide open and that view with all the islands just came inside our stateroom. Gorgeous!

HI ALL.....I'm back too. We're home two weeks today and I'm awake long enough to be back on the DIS. I've just been doing a little bit of FB and that's all.

I'm still catching up. I was about 30 pages behind. I'm still 13 pages back. I'll catch up real soon.

Surprisingly, I didn't have a single Mickey bar. But seriously, after just a taste of Alaska, I'd love to spend a week in Juneau.

Juneau was my favorite too Holly. But I'm done with it. I don't want to spend anymore time in Alaska. I want palm trees on my cruises in the future. Hawaii.....I'm excited and can't wait.

My camera broke last fall and I havent been able to get a new one yet, so I only had my phone to take pics and they're not great. But I did put tons on FB.

I used my phone for pics when not roaming and posted them directly on FB. Then I used my camera for days when the phone roamed. I have not downloaded those out of the camera yet. I will this weekend. Those are the ones of the inside passage off the verandah. You'll see just how beautiful it was.

It was so nice to actually spend time with people this time and to meet those I didn't get the chance to meet on the PC cruise. . Late dinner was really a challenge for me, but I loved, loved, loved my dining companions!

Well we appreciate your effort.....we had the very best time during dinner each night sitting with all the thieves.....rotating seats and getting to sit with and talk to everyone. It was so great to spend some time with you and Tyler this time and Tyler was soooooooooooo good. I'm really proud of him. He was awesome!!!

So I've decided we're going on the 12/15/12 Fantasy with so many other Thieves! I nabbed that week off work before anybody else does. Woohoo! That makes me feel better about not taking Tyler on the Hawaii cruise and he's so excited about getting to go on the Aqua Duck!

John is so going to divorce me....he said only one cruise a year now and we're already doing Hawaii......BUT tell me more about this cruise. It's on the Fantasy.....is it a western or eastern carribbean? How many other thieves are going?

Nope. Slept until 10am, been reading, napping and reading since. Watching "Caddyshack" on TV. Haven't seen it in so many years, it's almost like watching it for the first time again.

Have to clean the litter box and guinea pig cage and my bathroom today because my mom will be coming to town tomorrow and those are the most important things to have clean before anybody comes in.

Headed out to get Chinese take-out first though. Craving it big time.

It's Memorial Day weekend here.... so maybe lots of people are off doing stuff since they have Monday off too...


Mom's off grocery shopping...

I was hoping to go get some flowers... but that might have to wait... Still have to clean up around the deck... too much rain this week to get stuff done.

I have Monday off too. Tyler's dad gets Memorial Day this year, so I texted him yesterday telling him it doesn't make sense for me to pick him up Sunday evening just to have him picked up the next morning, so invited dad to just drop him off late Monday. He agreed, so I then suggested I get to do the same for July 4th which is my holiday this year and also falls on a Monday this time. That way I can take Tyler out of town that weekend.

I had no service the whole Alaska cruise. But I realized after a few days, it actually was wonderful to be out of contact with the real world.

I loved it too and yes he was! I was so proud of how great he did! Especially for how sleep deprived he was. And in spite of me completely forgetting his meds 2 days in a row. I felt horrible when I realized. I knew something was seriously wrong because my mom and I both wanted to strangle him. So I had to take a minute to think hard about what could have changed, then I realized it. Mom wanted to kill me when I told her what I'd done. It was Tracy Arm day when I realized it because she was about to throw him overboard. So I quickly gave him both meds right away and let him hang out in the room as much as he wanted that day to avoid any troubles. 2 days later he was back on track.

Eastern, 7 nights, stops at St. Thomas/St. Marten, Puerto Rico, and CC. I wasn't able to book this payday like I'd hoped, so maybe next payday on the 15th. And hopefully the price doesn't go up by then. It's really, really reasonable right now (or was the last time I checked a week ago). Not sure how many others are going, but I know Lisa and Darrell, Heather and family, Jackie, and I can't remember who else.

Deb posted that she had the wound doctor today... hope it goes well... and she checks in soon...

I did good and I'm glad it's over....I did the wound dr and the rheumatologist dr both on the same day. I wiped out afterwards for a couple of days.

You know I would be back on here sooner or later....usually after quite a bit of sleeping to catch up.

As it was, I was sick when I left for vaca and almost didn't make it out at all. Then I missed dinner twice since I didn't feel good at all. The rest I muddled through, but took a nap after every activity. I had a lot of down time on this trip. Then I slept for most of two weeks after getting back.....but I'm here now!!!!

Deb - how did the visit with your uncle go?

Oh yea, my first weekend home.....I ran out to LI to see Uncle Teddy since I heard that we almsot lost him while I was away on vacation. Very scary. He's doing much better now, but he's on antibiotics. If the condition persists after he's off the antibiotics, it will not be good for him. We will have to wait and see.
