I'm cleaning out my fridge and pantry before I leave...looks like potatoes and broccoli tonight followed by a yogurt

I have to work tomorrow...

I will have strawberries and blueberries and yogurt for breakfast...peanut butter sandwich to pack for lunch and potatoes, broccoli and yogurt for dinner

So I see you have an abundance of yogurt and leftover potatoes and broccoli!

I have gone for a walk with Sara and Trevor, visited my friend who just had surgery, visited my mom and dad (gave my mom her Mother's Day card and gift early as I'll be in Alaska!) and called my brother who is having minor surgery while I'm away. Then I finally finished packing...except for the last minute things. I have to work tomorrow, then it's all about vacation

I have to work Monday. Blech......and I might try to force myself to go in and work a few hours tomorrow because Mr. Energizer Bunny plans on working all weekend long, and since I'll be gone after Monday, my coworker Jan will be absolutely buried. So I'd like to get things caught up before Monday (because Monday I'll be frantic, worried about leaving on time so we can head to the airport).

Blech......and I might try to force myself to go in and work a few hours tomorrow because Mr. Energizer Bunny plans on working all weekend long, and since I'll be gone after Monday, my coworker Jan will be absolutely buried. So I'd like to get things caught up before Monday (because Monday I'll be frantic, worried about leaving on time so we can head to the airport).

Same exact story here. Though I'm feeling pretty right now and I WILL NOT go into the office Sat or Sun if I'm feeling any worse thatn I do right this minute. Whatever gets done on Monday will have to be good enough (though I can work late as we don't leave till Tuesday).

I mostly just have bills to pay, last minute laundry and a drug store run and a pedicure. Might shop for some new 'inner wear' if I've got the strength! Oh, yeh, and color my hair!


Cheri, Peg and I are having dinner with Mr & Mrs Woody on Tuesday night. Looking forward to seeing them and hearing about their latest visit to New Zeland. Their next DCL adventure is the Transatlantic in May.

Time for some icecream and the final (for me) espiode of MI-5....my beautiful Richard dies!!!! At least I know he's working on the Hobbit right now and I'll get to see him in that. ALTHOUGH not sure he'll be recognizable as he plays a dwarf! (but the KING!) Peter Jackson is doing a blog on facebook and I've already seen a video he's put up there. And, in the meantime I can catch him in Captain America.

Thanks again, everyone! Hoping Harry can stay stable for many years before more treatment is needed. I must say that it doesn't get any easier to handle. Our anxiety level is through the roof as CT scan time approaches. Harry tries to act like it doesn't bother him. I'm sure he just doesn't want to add to my anxiety.

As for Easter dinner I was thinking of throwing together Pizza Stew in the crock pot. The best of both worlds...pasta that tastes like pizza. Pizza or pasta is good anytime.

That is fabulous news!

We're thinking frozen pizzas for dinner tomorrow night. We did our Easter dinner last Sunday since we aren't going to be around for the leftovers this week. And lik Kathe we're trying to clean out the fridge before we leave.

And besides... if it snows up there... they won't blame ME!!!!

Hi Jan, Harry goes for a CAT scan next Monday. If all is stable he shouldn't need another CAT scan for another six months. It would be great knowing that no treatment would be needed as our DD is getting married on the 9/11/11 Dream cruise.

As for me, my anxiety level is extremely high. It affects me physically as well as mentally. I will stop complaining, though, as I feel guilty when I complain. Harry is such a trooper what with all he is going through.

We are also doing the three day Dream after the wedding cruise. Our first b2b. I am glad that I have no interest in any of the new itineraries as I used our dummy reservations for our b2b. We will book a dummy reservation on board and see if 2013 has anything that interests us. Would love a Southern Caribbean.

I have not been on this thread since day one. My case load picked up as did deadlines for several other activities and events.

We are in New Jersey now to spend Easter with our kids. It was a 10 hour drive Friday and another to get back to Indy on Monday.

Tom is doing well. We forget that he had cardiac bypass surgery much of the time. He is pacing himself better than he used to which is good. We quote Carl Fredricksen from UP frequently with hanging hands and voice saying "I am old and infirm.".

Safe travels to my 'roomie' Kathe!

I had a nice long nap in the middle of the day today, so have to do some of my errands this evening. I'll get lots of rest tomorrow too. I'm glad I took the whole day off on Tuesday (thought about working in the AM), but I want a good night's sleep and the ability to have Tuesday morning to load the suitcase have a nice lunch with my sister then wait for Miss Cheri to meet up and have Jose take us all to the airport.

My thoughts exactly. The temps there are spring temps for us. I think people are overreacting to how cold they think it might be. I don't wear layers here in winter, so I certainly won't need to in Alaska in spring.

It won't be snowing, if anything, it will be raining. Forecast through 5/2 is low 50sF for high temps and rain almost every day. No need for heavy duty winter apparel.

Thanks Kathe. I was bad and didn't go in to work today, and no time tomorrow because we'll be traveling out of town for Easter dinner, getting home after bedtime. I'm so worried about Monday because it will be soooooo busy, with piles and piles of work. Oh well, nothing I can do about it but just get through a short 6 hour day and then I'll be on vacation!

Congrats to being on vaca already!
