I didn't end up taking him to the vet because he's acting normal, his breathing doesn't sound stuffy anymore and his coughing is less, only heard him cough once yesterday and once today, so I think he's on the mend. It's such a pathetic sound, hearing a guinea pig cough.

Well, I'm glad he's feeling better too!

Champagne Girls elsewhere is just getting out of hand now. I don't like it and it is all wrong.

We got tons of snow last night while I was sleeping My neighbour has already been over and cleared my driveway though I'll just have to shovel up my steps and out my side door. I'll have to try to find my car at some point too!

In the meantime, I've got too much time on my hands, I've gone and booked the Fantasy for Nov /12. It is making a stop in San Jaun. Of course, I already have it booked for May /12 as well.There's no way that I can do both of them so I'll have to make a choice, it would help if we all knew where the Wonder and Magic were going to be too!

We got tons of snow last night while I was sleeping My neighbour has already been over and cleared my driveway though I'll just have to shovel up my steps and out my side door. I'll have to try to find my car at some point too!

Champagne Girls. Somehow I just don't like everyone else organising it and kind of acting like it is automatic to do it onboard. All putting their tenpenneth in. Just annoys me for some reason. Sorry, I can only vent on this thread. Not that I go any more but somehow I feel involved. I hope it doesn't get banned at some point.

About the snow...who knows Usually we get a lot in March and a very little in April,very unlikely in May , but it has happened. We had beautiful warm weather just a few days ago, some record highs for this time of year. We also had some rain and a bit of freezing rain, it's been a real mixed bag lately! The plough has been by so looks like I am going to have to shovel out the end of the driveway.

I hate that pile of snow at the end of the driveway but I guess we should be grateful for the plough to go through. We don't get that now where we live with the cuts.

That must be a horrible feeling. I know the steroids have worked quickly and well in the past, but I also know you don't like taking them.

I LOVE my steroids. I have energy on them. I wish I could be on them all the time, but it's not safe to do that. So I save them for when it's absolutely necessary. I took them this morning and the leg is already starting to go down a little. It feels better.

What I hate taking is the Vicodin. That makes me feel sick, but it works for pain when necessary.

Really, now where is it going to be held? What cruise. I'll look it up. It's ok for it to evolve. As long as the ones I do don't change. I'm doing one on the Alaska and other people are trying to get away with not wearing pink. I had to be stern about it and stick to the original plans. Ken made fun of me doing it. But I'm hosting it and so I want it done my way. That's how Angel and I originally talked about and planned it. I try to keep it true to the way we wanted it.

I think the Alaska one will be partly like the first and part like the second. I'll have the Sommelier there, but I will limit his talking to 3 minutes per tasting. Then I don't want DCL to come around and pour. I want it set up like the first one where John will be there to pour and maybe he'll have Tyler as his assistant this time. I want the girls to get up and walk around and talk. More talking and drinking less listening. I think that will be the right blend.

Marilyn, you may want to cruise the Dream in November with us......Angel and I will be together for the first time doing a Champagne Girls tasting. That is one you won't want to miss.

Just wait until mid March. We did a talk with the COO of DCL and he told us that new itineraries were being announced at that time. Are you doing the Dream with all of us in Nov? The new places will be announced in a couple of weeks. Wait until then before you made any decisions.

I knew that it was being copied. Others have asked me to send them my info and so I did. It appears that they are doing otherwise. I don't want them to ruin it for all of us.

Did you mean that people who didn't contact me for the info are having tastings? That's a stretch. I wanted it to evolve, but in a good way. Not in a way that gets everyone banned from having them.

No no no, I don't think it would get banned. I let my mind wander you know, a bit negative, and I just wondered if there might be a reason or two that DCL would stop it taking place. It would take a lot for that to happen, particularly if DCL are making money!!!!

Hopefully we will cruise together again one day.

It is a very nice tribute as long as it stays within the spirit that it was intended. To ruin it for the rest would not be a good thing.
