Here's the DREAM hot tub in the Quiet Cove area. No wonder we couldn't see it in the deck plans and construction photos...it's up against the 'window'!

Now to go back and catch up on you guys!

.

They moved your cushy lounges and put in WATER???? How dare they!!!:lmao:

Oh this is a good one, you can hear the horns much better! :thumbsup2

Did anyone get a good picture of the MAGIC at Aruba? I have some shots from downtown of the bow and the stern but not the whole ship with the town in the foreground or the ship in the background.
.

I'll take a look through mine too.

I am definately staying up...too excited not to :upsidedow I can't book until midnight but I have the next day off work. Let me know if we have to co-ordinate this. Are you going to be booking stuff too? Thanks so much for offering to book for me though :goodvibes

Actually, just Palo, which you can do unless you get too sleepy. Just want us to grab a brunch, then a dinner. I assume we'll be tweeking them on the ship to combine with other friends for a larger party.

So my mom has a dinner question. She'd love to be at dinner with everybody she met in Chicago, but also wants to have some dinners with me & Tyler. Is that ever allowed? Oh, sorry, I shouldn't assume you'd let her join for dinner, LOL!

Holly, my bet is we will have several tables all requested in the same section and we can 'mix and match' who we sit with. So you could even have your own table in that section. We can plan for breakfast and lunch meet ups during the cruises too. I find it easier to visit with people when we aren't at a really big table ('cause then you are only talking to the people nearest to you anyway).

DCL has rotational dining, we can have rotational seats!! :lmao:

.

Jan, I had some of Cheri's photos from the PC cruise saved in my favorites. Here's what I found from her Aruba file:

Not sure if anyone has any better ones. I hope these help.
These are great! Jan, I hope you find one you can use because I just checked mine and I don't have any of the whole ship.

That's what we did for Tortola and it was the most fun I have ever had. We took all the tables and put them together and rotated seats each night. So everyone got to sit with everyone eventually. It worked out really well.

It's official after much agonizing, we've decided to cancel the LA repo and Alaska.

It came down to me just not having enough vacation days with the new job. I just couldn't see taking 12 vacation days after only being in my new job for a bit over my 90 day probation.

Its bittersweet because while I've decided to cancel I am so, so much better off being out of my former company and away from the living hell they made my life for 2010. It was worth many times these cruises.

There are definitely going to be other cruise opportunities.

I'm also keeping the 10% discount by moving the 2 reservations to dummy dates.

That sucks. But fully understandable. I'm sure we will cruise together sometime! And yes we really understand the importance of the new job - Shannon is in the same boat. Her new job isn't worth jeopardizing either.

I am doing a presentation in a couple weeks about out trip and thought that would be a fun perspective to show. If no one has one, I can certainly live without it though.

thanks in advance.

This is the best pic I have that fits what you asked for. Not that great but it might work for you:

Thanks Ken...

I've been trying to figure out the right way to say this...

And Ian...

You and Sukie are SOOOO important to all of us and we fully understand and stand by you for all the changes you've made this year. We want you healthy and happy and Ken's right... we'll sail together again... :grouphug::grouphug:

Oh no...you're not cancelling too are you

I just thought this warranted being repeated.

Over and over again... Now if I could get Shannon to say it...
hmmmm...

:cool2:

I just rewatched the movie "Big Night" and now I MUST have Italian food for dinner!

(I suspect Streets of New York might not be the same however.....)

I'm flipping out with excitement. We're doing a stateroom tour while on the Dream maiden voyage. I just found out that we're getting in to see a Royal Suite. OMG the Royal Suite on the Dream....it doesn't get any better than that!! I'll take LOTS of pictures and post here for Kathe to see them too.

No absolutely not. We are paid in full. It was part of the discussion when Shannon took the job that she would require the time off for the cruise. They said no problem.

However we have looked at other vacations and other things that we have had to say "no" to because of the same issues Ian is talking about.

I've gotta be careful what I say...:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Ken... if I could get my favorite Canadian sign maker to do it for me... I MIGHT be persuaded to put that as a magnet on MY door (Next to Planky's sign...) ;);)

Weren't we all supposed to do a Toronto trip next summer? Maybe we should just wait until then? Or both!
