I stopped packing about 7 hours ago! We are at the airport hotel now. All relaxed - well almost!

Wondered when you were coming west!!! Travel well my friend!!!

I never stopped. One of my members hit 160 lbs (72.75 Kg) lost so far and another hit 80 lbs (36.4 Kg) lost so far.

We also had a line quite literally going out the door this morning with people registering.

Kinda figured you were still at it.. Congrats on your members hitting great goals!!:banana::banana:

We do miss hearing about your adventures. How's Mrs F?

How exciting!! I hope you have a great time and that you don't have any airport delays. Keep us informed when you can about what you're up to. Hugs to Cheri from us and back to you again.

I second that... and we'll TRY and keep the thread going while you are away...;)

Ours is a two footer in a pot. All we have to do is take off the little ornaments and little lights that it came with and we're done. But we won't do that until after John's birthday next week.

I wrestled mine back into the box. I don't think it's ever been this easy or quick to clean up after Xmas. I'm leaving the lights out though a few more days. They are on our deck which is what we see from our living room.

For everyone....these are my sentiments exactly. Nice job Michelle. Thanks.

thanks Deb! :thumbsup2

Deb, thanks for sharing your pics too! I'm glad you enjoyed the holidays :santa:

Marilyn-have a great vacation :cool1:

Jackie-get rid of all those cold bugs NOW, there'll be none of that in April/May ;)

We'll spray her down with lysol before she boards.. but just in case.. I'm packing extra nyquil...

I was up at 5:00 this morning for work, and thought I heard someone at my door around 5:30  I'm always very nervous when someone comes knocking really early or really late. By the time I got to the door and was peeking out the window, they were gone. I then noticed someone at the door of my neighboor's across the street and that they were on the phone.Within minutes there were about 6 fire engine/rescue trucks, several police and an ambulance  My neighbours next door had a fire in their basement caused by their electrical panel :scared1: I feel bad for them, they've only owned the house less than a year, just a young couple. I couldn't convince them to come inside where it was warm, but she did accept a coat and gloves. They got their dog out but had been unable to find her cat. Hopefully the cat was just hiding and is okay. Eventually they moved some of the emergency vehicles for me(they were blocking my driveway) so I could get to work. Not a good way to start the New Year...makes me very thankful...thankfully they had smoke alarms, because that is what woke them!

Glad they are ok... :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 I couldn't imagine having something like that happen. We get alot of fires up in this area because people use space heaters to heat their homes. Especially kerosene ones... :scared1::scared1::scared1:

;)Shhhhh..... ;)

And you have had a shave since then too Ken!!!!

I do love the annual pic, you should keep up that tradition. Though don't have Kaleigh in the same outfit when she is 14 will you?

Well you never know. Shaelyn had the same outfit but I think she has out grown it. So Kaleigh will now get that one as a hand me down. Who knows what she will buy when we are in DL or WDW when she is around 14...

Deb those pics look great. Looks like a nice get together! Too bad about the missing pics of you and John however.

Holly - what's your account name or link on Dropshots? You can add "friends" to the dropshots page so it is easy to find people. It is easy to add pics once you have the dropbox installed - just click and drag. And of course then it makes it easy to link the pics to sites like this one.

Yeah, I have to get my laptop somewhere with WiFi so I can install dropbox. It won't work on my phone & we don't have internet at home, so I probably won't have time to do that until next weekend. Back to work tomorrow. My account name on there is mulligah, but there are no pics yet.

dummmm de dummmm de dummmmm de dummmmm... :rolleyes1

Page 2 guys.... :rotfl:

Hi thieves - Happy New Year

Quick mom update - she is recovering from the pnemonia and will most likely be moved to a skill nursing facilaty today. She has been experiencing very bad sundowning (google it ;) so I'm thinking we will most likely need to hire a sitter for her in to be there from late afternoon to bedtime. Of course the "other sisters" won't take this advice and do it - they will have to learn by mistakes (just hope they don't harm mom) hard times still with us :sad2::sad1:

one more thought...

I opted to cancel the Alaska part of our B2B - can't know today if I can take the time off work - I may add us at the last minute - the pricing wasn't that bad to rebook ( not the same as first day of course)

Also - ended up upgrading to a cat5 for Repo so now we have a 4 person room - that's the good news - the bad news is the DCL agent I did this with quoted me one thing verbally and then the email confirm came thru $300 + more  (I'm pretty anal about noting my calls - I do this stuff for a living ya know  )

I called back talked with a supervisor who said she'd look for the recording of our call to confirm or deny my request - kinda stinks that I'm in the holding the bag :mad:part of this. But Paul agreed we're keeping it as it is and I hope DCL will do the right thing.

Lasyly, Paul might get to travel to Japan for work - which is cool in itself - but he may see my nephew which would make it awesom :woohoo: - but of course it comes with a downside - it the weekend of our NoWhere cruise -so I might have to find a person to accompany my kids to meet me in LA that weekend - never a dull moment.:dance3:

So Nan, keeping busy at all? LOL

Here's hoping everything falls into place and all the ducks get lined up.

Glad mom's getting better Nan... Hope things work out soon...

Hi Ken!

Well... last night is the 1st night I have fallen asleep with out any meds. It's been a couple of months that I've had to take them - other than my regular meds. I've been on muscle relaxants and I HAD gotten down to only 1/4 of a pill, but needed it to sleep each night. It left me very sleepy the next day.

Part of my new years me project is to take better care of myself, so I've decided to start walking again and to get off the meds.

It took me along time to finally get to sleep (with the help of a very cute stuffed puppy and some music) but I made it. I hope that tonight goes just as good. I want to feel more human again.

Nan, it is good to hear from you  I know you are going through lots of trials  Glad you have some fun things planned too, sorry you had to cancel Alaska, but as you said...maybe you'll be able to rebook :wizard:

:thumbsup2 That sounds like a great start to the New Year Michelle

I can get to sleep most nights, but I can't stay asleep, very frustrating :headache: I know it's different than what you have to deal with though, as my problem isn't health/pain issues just :confused3

Wow, how scary! I'm glad they're OK and hope the cat was just hiding. Thank goodness for smoke alarms.

Yes, thank goodness for smoke alarms! If anyone didn't get around to changing their batteries when the time changed...do it NOW

Yes it save lives...

but my son came to my bedroom about 3 am and I got a fright while he tap me and stand there within dark... (I thought it was a ghost)

He was telling me that he had enough to hear fire alarm batteries went dead and keep beep beep all night ... so we change new battery and he went back to bed and happy!!!
