Back to work tomorrow. Just a quick drive by posting because of something I saw Michelle posting on Facebook tonight.

I will have to look at that payment date for the cruise as I too thought it was in February. It should be slow tomorrow so will double check it then for us. We haven't received a single word on the cruise since we booked.

Deborah... all the streets in NY were down to one lane and they had 2 FEET of snow to remove.... it will take them time, they will take all the snow and scoop it up and put it in the river to melt. They don't get this kind of snow often... so they were basically paralyzed.... it's funny though... now we have the problems with the airports over here that you guys had last week...

100 days now for our Cruise in April

Paid full last month....

Flight and cruise are separate but I was reading forum and say never book separate incase something like bad weather etc

Sorry to hear that Nan. They will treat her and care for her well and she will soon be better, but it is such a worry for now.

I just realized a big oops. Any Christmas cards I sent outside if the U.S., I completely forgot about extra postage. I just ran all cards through the postage meter at work. I totally forgot until now. I guess the post office will return them to me for insufficient postage.

My experience here is that the Post Office has got more mean, and leave a card asking you to call in to the main sorting office and pay the extra to get the item. I guess if you don't they might send it back, but I don't think they do it automatically.

I had a boyfriend in college I used to write to (we went to different schools...) I sent something once that needed an extra .19 of postage... it came back to me. I sent it back in a manilla envelope with a note asking if anyone in the Frat House could come up with the money to pay the ransom on my letter!!! Chris told me that the entire house COMBINED couldn't come up with that much...

Well... the QM finished up her 7th Drs. appt in about 2 weeks. Today was a opthomolgist plastic surgeon to see if the skin cancer she has on her eye lid can be removed. We have to go back in 2 weeks for a biopsy and then she will probably have to go back to the Dr. who did her other skin cancer to have it removed... followed by the plastic surgery. I've still suggested a brow lift...
